He explained in the comments that he didn’t think he could catch the shiny with a regular poke ball without damage so he didn’t wanna need to restart again.

7:33 Extreme Speed didn't have +2 priority until Gen 5, so it was just a stronger quick attack before that.

SmallAnt was the one who got me into pokemon content as I started watching his SMO speedruns and just branched out. So he is the reason I'm watching Patterrz and many other poketubers today so it makes me happy to see him getting featured in these videos 😁

@@Fr0zenEagle i was refering to smallant's shiny only run he did, in it he reset on a shiny because he was speeding up and looking at chat and at that point he had already dome like 15k resets

I like the way that he barely mentions the fact that he caught a Bidoof for HMS, but then at 25:20, in the Hall of Fame, you see the barrel and everyone's just like just sitting there trying to sneak into the team

I almost feel guilty seeing Patterrz grinding for shiny Sharpedo here, because my first time going to Isle of Armor, I was just riding around exploring and the very first Sharpedo I came across was shiny. XD

“Can you beat Pokémon Platinum without taking damage?” Yes you can. It’s absolute hell against Pokémon that have Quick Attack or Fake Out, but you can.

Funny thing is up until I watched this video, I never realized that extreme speed got +2 priority only after Gen 5. Before that it was just +1 lol Same with Fake Out, until gen 5 its only +1

The quick attack had 1 fifth chance not to OHKO because it had intimidate and if it had a defence highering nature it wouldn’t OHKO

I still can't get over how he was able to bypass the Badge Obedience requirements for his Mons (Excluding his Starter) Cause I struggled with a Mon close to level 20 obeying in battle before fighting Gardenia

with out saving after the every gym this would be about 40320 times harder and would take around 1612665.61344 hours or 67194.40056 days not including speed up or if things go differently and not if he saved after every elite four (this would mean he would make the same mistakes 40320) btw it's 3 am

didn't gen 4 still have that thing where you can walk into walls infinitely do you can get level 100s by putting a penny in your joystick for something to hold it down abd come back later
