റസ്റ്റ് ഹൗസിന് ശേഷം പിന്നെ ഈ വില്ലാളി വീരനായ അർജ്ജുനന് റെസ്റ്റ് എടുക്കാൻ സമയം കിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ല..!! തന്റെ ആവനാഴിയിലെ ഓരോ സംഗീത ശരങ്ങളുമെടുത്തു മാറിമാറി പരീക്ഷിച്ചു അതെല്ലാം തൽക്ഷണനേരം കൊണ്ട് ലക്ഷ്യം കണ്ടു വിജയിച്ചു.. അതിന് ചുക്കാൻ പിടിച്ചത് മലയാളത്തിന്റെ ശ്രീയായ ശ്രീ കുമാരൻതമ്പിയും... ഇരുവരും ചേർന്ന് മലയാളഗാനലോകത്ത് പിന്നീടങ്ങോട്ട് ഒരു പടയോട്ടമായിരുന്നു....! ബാക്കിയെല്ലാം ചരിത്രം.... പ്രൊഡ്യൂസർ കണ്ട പയ്യൻ ഇത്ര ഉയരങ്ങളിൽ എത്തണമെന്ന് ഉടയതമ്പുരാന്റെ തീരുമാനമായിരുന്നു. എളിമയിൽ നിന്നും ദാരിദ്ര്യത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഉയർന്നു ഉയർന്നു സംഗീത രാജാവായി..... നമ്മളെ വിട്ടു പറന്നു പോയി.

'യാമിനി' എ്ന്ന ചിത്ര്ത്തിലെ 'പുഞ്ചിരി പൂവുമായ് പഞ്ചമി ചന്ദ്രിക' എ്ന്ന കാനം ഇ. ജെ. എഴുതി അർജുനൻ മാസ്ററര്‍ ഈണം പകർന്ന ഗാനം എത്ര വശ്യ സുന്ദരമാണ്. അതേക്കുറിച്ച് കൂടി പരാമര്‍ശിക്കാമായിരുന്നു.

6-ാം തിയ്യതി പുലർച്ചേ 3 - 30 ന് ദു:ഖത്തിന് പുലർകാല വന്ദനമേകി കാലത്തിന് അഭിനന്ദനം ചൊരിഞ്ഞ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ രാജ്യം ദൈവത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ കീഴടങ്ങി .. ഒപ്പം ദൈവത്തേ വണങ്ങി ആ അതുല്യപ്രതിഭ നമ്മളോട് വിട പറത്ത് മറ്റൊരു ലോകത്തേയ്ക്ക് യാത്രയായി .. ആ കാൽക്കൽ ശതകോടി പ്രണാമം അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു ..

While writing this comment, the great music director Shri. M.K. Arjunan is no more with us . The creator of tens of hundreds of songs most of which were super hits presented by the singing legend Shri. Yesudas. A great music director of his times , Shri. Arjunan will always be remembered for his dedicated service to the Malayalam film music industry. A man who had lost his father when he was a child , had to take shelter in an ashram and the chief of the ashram found out the hidden musical qualities in Arjunan , and from here he has started his musical journey which continued for so many years. His death turned out to be an irreparable loss for the music industry. Arjunan Master will be fondly remembered by the music lovers for his rich and invaluable contributions that will remain with them for long time to come.

Manorama News undertakes a journey through "Pattinte Vazhi" and on the way they meet one of the celebrated music composer Shri. Arjunan Master and proudly brings him close to the viewers , as the master speaks out from his heart about his illustrious musical journey which began at a very young age and climbed the ladder of success to become one of the leading figures in the Malayalam music industry. Arjunan's closeness with Mr. Srikumaran- Thampi saw the birth of many number of unforgetable songs , that are being heard by music lovers of today. Late Arjunan has worked with many lyricists of repute in the like of Vayalar , ONV etc , as he also assisted Shri. Devarajan- Master and together they created songs for Malayalam movies. The right combination of Arjunan and Yesudas took Malayalam film music reaching new heights as he made use of the calibre of Yesudas to the fullest. With the sad demise of the musical maestro , there came an end of the most vivacious and colorful musical era.
