The bond that Kobe and Pau made is unbreakable a very strong connection from the start there was just Instant Respect. And we all know that Kobe is so happy that Pau is with his family all the time he's at peace he's a family member of the Bryant family. it's a really special connection and bond that few people will have.

thanks for mentioning that. i'm sorry i have to bring up and put this in perspective because a lot of lebron goat discussions say that about lebron which i understand. However, respectfully people like Kobe and MJ make sure that people don't necessarily have to like them but to make them the best version of them in the court. that's greatness.

When I think of Kobe, I do not think of what he did. I think of what he was to become. We all knew whatever he did, he would put his heart & soul into & it would have been great. To this day when I think of Kobe being gone, I get a sadness that is still as heavy as it was when he passed away. They say time heals all wounds. I don't know about that.

Which made him a hall of fame player, pau doesn’t get in without those championships. Pau was absolutely incredible in the 2009 and 2010 seasons though, even outplayed garNett in the finals

I do think you're right in the bar being too low, but Pau is also one of the international players (I think him, Dirk, Manu and to a lesser extent Petroviz and Sabonis) that helped the game of basketball gain massive popularity globally.
