What can I say that hasn't already been said here. As a self taught musician and aficionado, all I can say about TAAB is that for the last 50+ years no performance/recording has had such a predictably exhilarating effect on me than JT's original acetate rendition. Only thing that comes dangerously close is Ludwig Van's 9th! And you have somehow you two have achieved a remarkable, probably unmatched facsimile. Amazingly faithful, respectful vocals. I feel such a kinship with both of you! Thank you.

Over fourty years ago when I was in tenth grade in High school my history teacher made the class listen to the whole " Songs From the Wood" album ( he was a big fan ) and I liked one of the songs , so I bought the album and it's been one of my favorite bands ever since , and this couples version of this song is quite good .

What do I think?..... AWESOME!!! BEYOND BELIEF!!! And that goes for all the songs Paul's band does. There does not seem to be any limitation to what Paul's band is doing with Jethro Tull's music. I would like to see a couple of songs from the album, "Songs from the Wood", if you happen to see this comment. Thanks for all the great music from this legendary band.

I had the pleasure of playing bass with Paul in “The Jethro Tull Experience”. He is the real deal and absolutely channels Ian when he is on stage with his authentic accent (he’s a Brit), vocals, flute playing , guitar playing and, when in character, the look. Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that he also fronted a Rolling Stones tribute and perfectly nailed Mick Jagger as well. Talented musician along with his wife, Marcy, who is a fantastic flautist, drummer and vocalist.

Absolutely lovely!! These two solve my greatest issue with live Tull over the past 50 years: a lot of the wonderful flutes lines go missing during performance because Ian can’t both sing and play flute at the same time!!! Such a wonderful piece of music! Hope I’m hearing it for another 40!!

What i wouldn’t give to have a DVD of the 1972 concert that i attended. I was on the 5th row on the floor center. These were fold up chairs and after everyone scooted up a little closer i was about 25 feet from the stage. I had just turned 21 years old. Over all these years and the 100’s of concerts i have attended, Thick as a Brick 1972 stands above them all.

This is the one tribute band that I thought that I would never see, and I've seen a lot of them. Because there is a certain kind of complexity to this music, and instrumentation, that it would take a very unique talent to reproduce this sound. This is very impressive work by this band. I would think Ian Anderson would be amazed at how well his music and legacy is commemorated through this band's performance.

The small venue went black and as the lights came up Ian emerged from this little tent on stage. It was a brilliant night. Now I am 70 and you brought back so many memories. Doing this song you are Ian with wild eyes .Wonderful guitar work and flute and that voice. It IS Ian. Thank you for giving me so much joy. Good luck in all that I hope you’re still doing.

I have been playing Tull since 1974 acoustic guitar and vocal. I have heard a lot of covers but yours definitely has the best Ian Anderson sounding vocal I've ever heard. I do thick as a brick but I don't do the "where the hell was biggles" part nor do I put Aqualung in there, but the rest I do as you do. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it and I'll be listening to some of your others! Maybe you could do the vocals at the next JT concert since Ian has lost his voice...

Paul has also been meaning to record some instructional videos and hopefully you'll see some of that too. In the meantime, let me know in the comments which songs from the classic era you'd like for us to cover! And... if you haven't already done so - we'd love for you to subscribe to the channel!
