Great music. 'Monsters Exist' was a very special album for me, up their with the classics (but I get that tastes differ.) They also both seem a friendlier with each other in this interview than in any other I've seen. Good vibes and great dry/absurd British humour. And have always loved how brutally honest, unpretentious an un-"media trained" they are.

Now this may sound a little daft.. and it's 24 years late.. but now perhaps technology (KZfaq) affords me the opportunity.. I somehow specifically want to thank whoever is resposible for the lyrics in Otoño. So beautiful that I can't describe them. Peace. That is all.

I still have the cassette of the Green album I bought on a whim at a NYC HMV back in '91 and have not looked back. Saw you in NYC at Limelight on that Communion tour and still have the t-shirt. Saw you at Maskarave 2 a year later. at the now long-gone NY Coliseum. Still have that t-shirt [the reflect-y one], too. Saw you at Irving Plaza at the gig that wound up on the first of the three Satan CD-5s so I'm a voice in that crowd somewhere. My brother, coincidentally, saw you at the Axis gig in Boston that appeared on the second disc. Last live gig was at Brooklyn Steel just before lockdown. Halcyon is definitely in the top ten of most-played songs in the soundtrack of my life. I would very much like to hear some 5.1 Orbital mixes, otherwise, just looking forward to seeing more live sets and more releases. Stay healthy and keep the tunes coming!

RAT with SM was an ingenious.move towards Société. Its more a full slap into the moneywending peoples face then it was also a danceable supertrack.

re watching this having just bought a ticket for the Elysee Montmartre gig next year and I picked up on the Kraftwerk album shows. I worked on the Paris shows and they did an album per night in chronological order. After each album they would play a best of selection omitting the tracks on that nights album. They played for 2 hours or more and each day spent 2 to 3 hours putting the best of section together so that it was different each night. They also changed arrangements on some tunes so that audience members that came to every show would get different versions rather than the same things every night. I was very impressed by them. I saw every rehearsal and show and it was a masterclass on how to work. Hope this is useful if you do get to do a run of album shows at some date.

Most fans will hate this, but I hope in future albums and EPs, there is at least one experimental music that's the same style as those in Altogether (fave album).

Would love repressings of the older albums. But before you do that, please have a talk with your label about which pressing plant you/they use. It's quite abysmal to see the headshell lurching from side to side on the B and D sides, because the pressing plant managed to misallign the 2 sides of both vinyls. And that's far from the only thing wrong. Quite upsetting when you've been looking forward to getting your white vinyl, and it's a great album - best new album in years.

And can I say Paul, that Kate Bush being your stock answer to everything seems right, she's been my stock answer since 1979.
