Contrary to popular belief, the BMR of extremely large/obese people is much higher than a smaller/leaner person. You can, however, consciously increase exercise activity and non-exercise activity to add onto your resting calorie burning. That said, it's mostly about what you eat and when you eat it when it comes to basic body composition. It's clear that Geoff doesn't eat a breakfast like this every day and he works out regularly. As far as huge bulk feeds like this, Geoff isn't going to absorb every nutrient/calorie he has consumed. Additionally, not much of it will be stored as fat and some glycogen; he may even build some muscle. Most with gain will be transient: he will have a large bolus passing through his GI tract, plus water retention after a huge meal of these contents. If he eats right and moves his body the right way most days, he won't actually gain any permanent weight as adipose tissue doing food challenges like these.
