Here it is. All 45 minutes of Tom Scharpling and Paul F. Tompkins breaking down the infamous ad for the 10th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos. Audio was taken from the original July 21, 2009 broadcast, and edited to just cover the parts of the show related to the Gathering.

i think im 687 of these views. i listen to this every time i unpack in a hotel room, and i travel a lot. their energy turns my mood around no matter how bummed or tired or lonely i am. whatever's happened between them, i hope they can make it up someday. money isn't important. laughing this hard with someone you riff off this well isn't something you can buy. or replace. believe me.

I've listened to it as much as you I think. It's my favorite 45 minutes to listen to ever. I named my kitten Paw F Tomcats. PFT is my favorite person ever. He actually wished me a happy 50th birthday on Playing Games with Jimmy Pardo.

ThisIsErdoS Tom and Paul had a falling out during a project they had worked on for Television... I think it was Comedy Central. It must have been really, really bad seeing how Tom never spoke about Paul, or mentioned his name after the falling out.He's only dropped a few references to some other people, and "bad friends". Sucks, I know. PFT and Tom were great together.

I spent a week at my best friend's apartment in Seattle. We had never talked about this vid though I've listened to it countless times. While I was falling asleep on her couch for the night, she put this on the TV. It's a favourite memory of mine now.

Comedian Joe DeRosa once performed at a Gathering of the Juggalos. He later did a stand-up bit about how he bombed there, and how frightening the entire experience was.

I stumbled upon this comedic gem from Dragon Boy Suade videos. The ad provides so much material for them to work with, like lions feasting on a large fresh kill discovered. Some jokes are below the belt but they can get away being funny AF. Haven't laughed so much in a long time.

It happens. I wish people would push a reunion on them, though. I've had fallout with friends where the people surrounding us didn't quite understand the issues we had. The stuff that went on between them was deeper than any of us know, and we shouldn't push it on them.

Shangri-La is a fictional place in Tibet from the 1933 novel "Lost Horizon" by the British writerJames Hilton. Haven't read the book but apparently it's a mystical, harmonious place here people age very slowly. Hilton isn't very well known today but the term/concept he invented has some real reach if it could be applied in this context

Never thought I'd defend juggalos but they do raise a lot of money for charity and they seem ok. I mean, I've known a few and they were good people. I can think of worse groups/fans despite finding the gathering funny as fuck.

ZyxthePest Hahaha. Totally. I just think it'd be funny if they had an ad from one of those years rather than this easy target. Would they rip into either of those guys as 'typical hacks' who you'd likely see at one of these events, for instance. I don't see anything wrong with performing at an event you're being paid for, barring some extreme examples like a KKK rally or something like that. Attacking JJ Walker or Paulie Shore or attacking the quality of the event for having them perform seems like a bit of a low-blow, for these guys. Attacking Piper for being a wrestler, also a cheap shot. Roddy Piper, when you can actually understand him, admittedly, is actually pretty funny, and Mick Foley is another wrestler turned comedian who is well-spoken, intelligent, and funny.

Pretty sure Paulie Shore hasn't been funny since 1992, so I'm actually OK with them going off on him. Walker, I don' know much about outside Good Times and I'm gonna have to agree with Paul on Piper. The guy was in They Live, a kickass movie, but something tells me his stand-up skills aren't the best. To me, they're going off on the insanity of the event, more than anything. The fact that people are willing to live around complete strangers for four days, totally unsupervised. There's something rather silly and hilarious about that.
