The part where I thought PG was lying about when it came to the negotiations, was when he began to stammer and said he was willing to take the 3 years 150 mil at the end of the season. Then he said that he’d agree to it, with a no-trade clause. However, I think thats cap because he probably always wanted the 4th year all along, and was only gonna settle for a year 3 with the no-trade clause. He was never gonna agree to a 3 year. That just shows he’s not serious about winning “the right way”, he chose to be petty last minute.

My issue with PG is that he lacked accountability during his Clippers tenure. He wanted to play in a certain offense, but when he got sick of that, he'd say he needed a point guard. Glad clippers didn't resign but would have preferred sign and trade.

I think what he was trying to gloss over (because it makes him sound bad) was that ultimately he wanted thst fourth year no matter what, which would mean getting a bigger contract than Kawhi when he himself has said he thinks he should have been giving the dame as Kawhi. The first two cases were definitely a disaster for the prices they pay.
