In the 80s I bought "Paul Gilbert Intense Rock 1" on VHS, and this was the first lesson in the video. 40 years later, I still have not progressed past this lesson 😝

when you say progress, does it require you to reach certain bpm to move on to the next lesson? Cause yeah his speeds are insane, but the exercise itself is fairly common

All it takes is the same thing he did. Discipline and patience! You dont have any idea how long it took him and how much practice to get to his level. Losers will never grasp that. All they know is how to make excuses for other's hard work.
