We all said it last summer; thank goodness those guys all left, because Klopp keeps and plays his favourites no matter how badly they're playing.. It cost us top 4 last season just like it did last month. Despite us losing all those important games, he kept playing the same underperforming 'main guys'! He doesn't have many faults as a manager, but that's definitely one of them.

Gordon improves us instantly. He is a direct pacey wide player who does his damage in the pen area. He will get us very good G/A and he is a Liverpool fan so it will mean more. Obviously anything over 70m we walk away.

Minutes per goal, assist or Big Chance created in the PL: Diaz: 138 Gakpo: 93 Gordon: 78 Eze: 110 Bailey: 67 Martinelli: 129 Jota: 67 Salah: 48 Nunez: 68 Semenyo: 126 Diaz' numbers aren't just bad by Liverpool standards. They are bad by league standards and he plays for a better team than everyone i mentioned. And its not even that he doesn't get chances. He's got 8 goals from 11.8xG. Infact, he's the only one underperforming his xG. So for me, if a good offer comes, I'm selling with no hesitation

The Anfield Wraps interview was class. Klopp listens to some of these interviews but he definitely thinks people go way out there with their theories. If you had the chance to interview klopp, what kind of interview would it be?

The last three years have been beyond frustrating to view. Klopp lost something. Nothing was planned regarding the transfers the last couple of years. We were reacting at everything instead of preparing. Boy we were fortunate to get the three players last summer instead of Caicedo for his price. Klopp just couldn’t move players on and it has set our club back four or five years when we could’ve run off a couple League titles and maybe another in my opinion. A shame Bobby, Mane, and Mo didn’t win more trophies because they didn’t strengthen the team.

Fsg didn't plan to bring edwards back until klopp announced his leaving. Fsg offered Edwards a offer which edwards turned down saying he doesnt want his old job all the guys returning not returning to their old jobs. I dont think this was the plan buy fsg klopp even said himself he was in a meeting with the coaches etc talking about new players and he realised he doesn't want to do this anymore

That's how I've understood the order of events too. People can't seem to accept the man's reason for leaving. Football manager is a stressful, all consuming role, add into that PGMOL stuff, the media, and 115 FC it's no wonder he's deciding to pack it up.

Drift i am feeling you on this one. Klopp likeable and loyalty has allowed us to get to a certain place so the next regime can come and be methodical and ruthless. If we are keeping it a buck, our failures have been due to very few missed in games where we would have still played like to win.

If Edwards is as smart as we think he is, jota should be the first one of the door this summer. Because he's going down the Naby and Ox route. One more injury ridden season and I guarantee you he's leaving on a free just like them. In 2 years, he'll be a 29 year old injury prone player who'll be going into the last 12 months of his contract on 200k a week.

@@JoshArtim what do you mean "off the bench" he's injured for 75% of the season and in the crucial moment as well for the last 4 season. This was what I was telling people for 2 years about naby and ox and they didn't want to listen until it was too late. Please Edwards do not make the same mistake that Klopp did with those 2 again with jota.

I think Klopps loyalty in a normal world is a strength cause there should be loyalty in football. However in a world of facing a Man city ran by Pep and our poor injury record with some players his loyalty was weakness. He needed to be more ruthless at times and I feel we would have won more titles.

Luis diaz for 70mil I would sell (age and knee injury) and spend it on a striker, Viktor Gyökeres or Victor Osimhen. Have Nunez and Gakpo has the Lw.... Jota and who i just mentioned for Striker, which would possibly Dans given a chance here and there. I really like Rodrygo and Musiala but I honestly see them more central than left wing. I can't shake the image of a in form Núñez, Gyökeres/Osimhen, Salah fornt 3 with a Elliott/Szoboszlai/Mac allister behind them.... that has too score mad goals. A proper mad shout would be a cheeky bid for Heug Min Son (Play as a ST) on a short contract.

The truth of the matter is, we will never know how players would have played if they had stayed. Its different to have over 50k fans cheering you, compared to 2k fans in an emerging league. The truth of the matter is, klopps playing methods take a few seasons to master. Coming into a new season with little training time, it's natural to have players who know what is required around you, to aid the process of the new player understanding. What we have seen this season is an issue with set pieces for example. A large part of this is due to unfamiliarity and little training time.

The problem is that everyone thinks bobby is a 9 and wanted to get rid because of the new toy. Bobby never had pace, his game was based of his intelligence and tekk. He could have helped us this season massively

Gordon over Trashfraud any day! Trashfraudin 9 seasons has 1 good season and 1/2 a great season. Otherwise he is bang average. Rashford under a better manager says Drifty. He has been managed since LVG to ETH and been average to mediocre except 1.5 season..mediocre to average at best.

Diaz is 27 this is is peak, he won’t get better. Anything north of 50 million id take. Remember we only have to find an extra 10 pts to win the title, if refs don’t screw us, Nunez scores sitters, and Slott makes us harder to score against.

I am with drifty I am not with him on Nunez Drifty is right we disposed of Flako because of one season This was because of a quad season. Writing him off because of this one season. We have to judge everyone on the same level. Matt makes a good argument but he’s not for persuasion.

Next season we are in for a rude awakening. Too many revisionism has been happening these past few weeks. And these informations being fed is to stir the fanbase. They want to shift the loyalty from Klopp to the people who've come back. It's all good that most of our fanbase are solid and will give them time because at some point Klopp would have left anyway but the local fans are different.

Personally he would have had a better season in LFC and we possibly wouldn't have fell off like we did in matter of weeks. I know people like to banter how it turned out for him at Chelsea but don't get it twisted, Caicedo is a very talented player and he needs to be managed carefully.
