Tbf, a DJ cannot play without headphones (unless they use sync). Regardless, what Paule does requires a lot more skill than actual DJing.

@@greyhound7148 That is not DJing, that is LIVE performance from samples and instruments patterns. This is not connecting tracks together, it is like constructing them again like LEGO from different boxes. So he needs perfectly know his equipment and prepared sounds and don't necessary need headphones. And honestly... his LIVE mixes from last few years are not much different so he knows his "material" very good. It is routine.

no no no people you are very, very wrong; paul can even make music without electricity - talk about headphones and a microphone, why - what skills, paul just has to look closely and it will work... ;)

While most of the other mainstage acts seem (in my Opinion) to compete on how many drops from different tracks they can fit into their set time Paul is the complete oppsosite and I love it. He somehow manages to keep the energy high and to decelerate everything at the same time. Gotta love when he takes his time to light a cigarette at the beginning of the seconds track. :D

Paul is one, maybe the number one, on live act's, specially in Tomorrowland. He's at Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) or Carl Cox level. So, way better then other names in the mainstage.

I can only say it in French ... Paul Kalkbrenner has "Metier". His sets are always easy going but pumping into extasy. Without the stupid&easy "DJ tricks (hoho/ hehe, left side/right side men/woman") he makes the crowd go crazy. PURE ART, pure DJ SKILLS! If God is a DJ, his name is Paul!😍

@@renatemaier1715 ist auch nicht ganz richtig, die Tracks die Paul in seiner langen Karriere produziert hat, werden bei seinen LiveActs individuell angepasst und nicht einfach nur von seinem Laptop abgespielt.Oder was meinst du, warum da so ein großes Board mit zig Reglern steht, wo Paul wie wild dran Arbeitet 😁 Jeder LiveAct von ihm ist Einzigartig, auch wenn es meistens immer die selben Tracks von ihm sind.

Ich wollte wegen Berlin Calling und dem Techno nach Berlin ziehen. Nun lebe ich seit einem Jahr hier. Seine Soundtracks bringen mich jedes mal fast zum heulen. Habe ihn und seine Mukke als Kind schon gefeiert. Werde nie vergessen, wie ich komplett verschallert an der Berliner Mauer nach dem Feiern langlief, kurz nachdem ich hergezogen bin. Mittlerweile war ich in der Entzugsklinik und übermorgen geht es in die stationäre Drogentherapie. Drogen hin, oder her... Seine Tracks erinnern mich immer daran, wie ich das Leben liebe, und was ich schon alles durchgemacht habe. Danke dir Paul !

I feel like putting PK is Tomorrowland’s way of educating the main stage crowd about electronic music other than the big drops etc. There’s no going back after he takes you on a journey 🙏 🙌

I must admit that I’m a newbie to EDM however upon hearing this man set I was in a trance for one hour completely. Everything he played was a melodic symphony thay got better with every note. It was a flawless set and he is now one of my favorite artists

To add to my previous post this man did more than drop hits he composed music That was original, exquisite, And link to the next song perfectly. He was a refreshing break from everything else that DJs were doing.

My friend Tiesto is a legend, the most perfect dj in the world, his music gives wellness in every kind of festival... And he sometimes talks on the mike, when the circumstance needs to do it... This is a plus for me, not a disturb. And he can do also because he has a beautiful voice 🎧🎵🎤

I have been struggling with my girlfriend's depression for many years. We have no one to help us. She already had suicide attempts. I'am still working and helping, trying to live normal... forever new loans, new problems and new return of disease. She is unemployed because of depressive fears... My biggest dream in life is that it will finally end and we will together to listen and see Paul live. We can do it. Keep Finder closed ❤

Trance lover since forever ago. Listening to uplifting master Darren Porter for past 8-9 years so haven’t been following scene. Thought this set from Paul B was going to be a joke but moments later tears of joy come streaming from my eyes. Paul found a new fan in me. He is literally one of a kind!!! I think the other dj-s are trying to be so technical (mixing 4 songs at one time), just to try to show that they can dj and make music with good drops... but they forget to be organic and somehow forget to enjoy in their music (it looks so to me) just like PK does. I love how every set I see him screaming, singing and dancing, just enjoying the moment. He has great passion. He is amazing
