George had his hair pretty long for most of the 70's and 80's. It was longer than Paul's for many years. Even the interviewer's hair is longer than Paul's is here but I think that Paul cut it short for the Pipes Of Peace video.

I love these studio sessions...there is something esoterically wonderful about creating music that drew me to this from the time I was a child watching my father working in the simplest of studios in a radio station...I've almost come full circle since then, to a 48 track and back to producing on a computer what took rooms and rooms of the stuff years ago. And McCartney has always been one of my heroes with his sense of humor as he and Martin crafted the sounds.

Such a ejoyable little interview! Paul being kind with the interviewer and show him the music machine, talking about a little time about be vegetarian... I think Pipes of Peace was influenced for the role of dad: you know, all the good parents want their children grew up knowing about values so, in one line of the song, you can notice he's criticizing about songs where the singers say things like "burn baby burn" and Paul want to spread this message about peace and, in a certain way, invite to the people listen music that don't spread negative messages, mainly to the kids (even, the origin of song could be related to John's death: too many times, the murderers were children with an empty childhood and, don't misundertand me, I'm not justifying their bad behavior but I think Paul's song is about pay the attention to the parents too and remember them about teach to the children about values for try to avoid troubles when they're adults) A wonderful song with a moving video. Even, Paul playing in the video as a war soldier... one of the best songs from Pipes of Peace album (and what a great choice call the album pipes of peace, Paul always so creative!)

When Linda had cancer and lost her hair due to chemo I believe, Paul cut his hair short to show sympathy and solidarity with his very ill wife. Otherwise, no, The Beatles started the long hair thing and he's pretty much always sayed with that look. It is notable though that he made a video featuring him on the battlefield for this song and he had the short hair of a soldier, so maybe that's why he cut it short?

02:19 lol Paul "Nobody puts their voice in the middle" Today, anything OTHER than vocals down the middle is considered obscure. The only time vocals weren't panned center was during a small, brief era when stereo recording was new and people didn't know what they were doing. Hence the Beatles have many tracks with what are considered very obscure panning techniques today.

You right Jennifer the man in the video is not the real Paul mccartney - however it is not Billy either. What so many people get wrong is how many replacements were there. Yeah William might have been and might still be the main replacement but there were a couple other guys who were brought in shortly after him to play the role of Paul. And trust me when you compare Billy's pictures with theirs they look nothing alike. They all look like Paul to a certain degree but they don't look like each other at all. From 1966 to 2009 the role of Paul Mccartney was played by 3 different people. The guy in the video is Frank C. He was one of the 2 doubles that were brought in after William, and he looked the most like Paul out of the 3 of them. He had a round face as you can see, thin arched eyebrows, brown eyes and a small nose. That's how you can tell him when it's him posing as Paul. William has a long narrow head, long thin nose, green eyes and an elongated chin, that's what you'll need to look our for when you're looking for pictures of him as Paul. While Pete the last replacement to have been brought in, has a shorter face than William, blue eyes and a quite robust looking nose which appears slightly beaked from the side. They were around until quite recently. Frank quit in 00 while Pete quit in 09, William has been the lone Faul since then

Thank you for this footage! @4:37 Paul is asked if he has a recipe for making hits. In his response at 4:47 Paul is not being honest. In the music industry it is known that nearly all hit songs are developed to become hits by a small group of producers and not by the artists themselves. Once you realize that is probably William or Billy sitting there and not Johns friend Paul James, things start to faul into place. Apple Corps. = A Paul Corps. PID

These 'Paul is dead' morons are the most vulturine, ghoulish people around. To even entertain this shit any longer after John & George's passing is repugnantly maudlin. Their 'evidence' is contrived, try hard lunacy. A Paul's Corpse?! Fucking seriously? Who talks like that anyhow. It's like the backmasking horse dung from the 80's they tried to pin on metal bands; the things they claim is being said would never ever be uttered in normal English conversation. It's like the QAnon batshits or flat Earther's; they've ruined any legitimate discussion of conspiracies. Because there have been legitimate conspiracies in history, the JFK Assassination being one, but you cannot discuss it without being called a tin hat...thanks to duncecaps like this.
