The sound of McCartney 1970 album on CD 2011 is like it's been taken off a worn vinyl record. At the same time the 1993 remastered CD sounds clean and flawless.

Hi Paul. Watched this video last night and it was a facinating trip through time with Paul McCartney's first album. I hope to still be alive when the Blu-ray 5.1 and Atmos mixes are released for all of Paul's catalogue. =)

I feel like the 1999 Japanese mini-LP replica was more about replicating the original US version of the album, because my original US version of the vinyl LP has the heavy cardboard and the pasted on inner sleeve - it all sounds exactly like what I have, except it is done in the miniature CD size. But I agree, it is a great album regardless of which version you own. I think I actually have grown to love it more and more as the years go by, if that is even possible. 👍💙
