Paul McCartney speaking to the press before his show in Lexington, Kentucky, in the midst of his "Flowers In The Dirt" tour of 1989/1990. This was McCartney's first venture back out on the road in America since Wings' highly successful 1976 "Wings Over America" tour.

I saw Paul at the 1990 Lexington show. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. His voice was amazing.

I am looking for photos of the end of that concert...my friends and I threw him a bouquet and he held it up and gave it to Linda- we've never been able to find photos of this and are still looking

This is an absolute model press conference. Paul is totally relaxed and no question is hard enough, the answers are so seemless it's like he's giving a lecture not taking questions. I saw him in London on this tour, and he was excellent. It's quiet sweet how all the journalists rush to the front at the end to get his autograph.

I saw Paul three times on this tour. I saw him in October , in Rome , Italy, then in December in Chicago. Then the last show of the tour at Soldier Field , Chicago.

I saw Paul July 4 and July 6 1990 at RFK in DC. Also took my 10 yo daughter to see him in 02 at Verizon center in DC. Saw Wings at Cap Center in Landover , MD. In 77. All great shows! I see David Gilmore playing along side of PAUL and Wix on the keyboard for Gilmores band

Nice press conference as Paul is very grounded here and personable. I saw him twice during this tour. It was excellent. 1989 in Philly and 1990 at Madison Square Garden, where I sat in the rafters... The Press here is flat. Odd.

Look at them ! Too busy talking to each other Paul is gracious , humble , witty and an icon .there are a billion other things he could be doing than answering questions he's been asked a billion times. .show some respect..I've never seen dead people sitting up

The tour wasn’t called the “Flowers in Dirt Tour.” It was the “Paul McCartney World Tour.” The “Flowers in the Dirt” album was released three months before the tour began.

I think he did have a cold = it is the nasal tone. I hear it. Yes, his speaking voice has gotten deeper and his 79 year old vocal cords can't make the sounds they did when he was younger, but in this interview I can hear he is probably getting over a cold.

So they found this guy to replace Paul And he immediately took over the band . So did not only did I look like him But he was so talented even more so Than Paul, and became the new band leader. I John just watched as this replacement created pepper and everything else. Fools ! There is something really wrong with these people
