That olive oil and vinegar dressing is really, really good. I just started buying it and found out how good it is. Simple, but extremely tasty. I think it must be the one with which he started the business. The salad ingredients look good too.

Brava! I've interviewed some biggies over the years and people would say to me, "How did you get an interview with him?" I said I asked. Sometimes they say yes, sometimes no, but you have nothing to lose by asking. Newman was a difficult person, so the fact that you got an interview with him AND he made you lunch AND you go to so to his apartment is a big deal. His original oil & vinegar dressing is my favorite of the store brands. I will resist asking where Joanne was or if you were dessert! Nice job!

Love Paul Newman favorite films are 'The Hustler' & 'Hud'. Great salad however I have never purchased his products. I noticed your beautiful Polish ceramic deep bowl! There must be a story about that piece. I have a few pieces & I love them! I love eating my hearty soups in the soup bowls. My son has his favorite place setting plate. I have a mix & match setting for 4. Also have a Polish ceramic baker that I love next to my Le Creuset braiser. Thanks for an interesting video. Lovely home!
