Was around 4 years ago now. Mourinho definetly destroyed Martial. He went from playing in the Euro 2016 final as a 20 year old to not even be selected for the World Cup 2018 all because of Mourinho not using him

@cogamers84 bruh,we played champions league in 2018/19 season,we were 2nd in 2017/18 season,pogba scored 16 goals and 10 assists in all competitions that season,he was inconsistent but he fared well in that season,not to say,he is being worthy enough for €90 M,but,I definitely think,he will play well Bruno and VDB alongside him,he will definitely step up his standards.

People blame him because he is our most expensive player, our best player. It's no fair to just criticize him and compare him with previous united's great midfielders. Remember scholesy was phenomenal, bu he has cantona, cole, yorke, RVN, rooney, saha, ole, rvp at his time. While pogba has been distributing the ball to the very young and inconsistent players like marcus, martial & Lukaku. He has been surrounded by unstable team and coach (jose) With martial now growing up become more consistent, bruno fernandes, and more stable manager . Hopefully he can shine like he has to be.

I m a city fan. We all know kdb is the best midfielder of the world but it should have been pogba. He had the potential to be not only the best mid in the world but also one of the best ever. It is sad to see how united is ruining this gem. Bruno performed great but u need to remember form is temporary but class is permanent.

Anybody notice how most of the Juve passes led to goals🤦🏿‍♂️. That’s what you get with good players up top. His assists at United will be up there with anyone if he had forwards that are clinical (esp. Rashford). Hopefully that improves with Tony and Mason...

Dude,don't joke like that,even in 2018/19 season,when he scored 16 goals and made 10 assists,his form was inconsistent because both mourinho and ole who came as interim manager consistently changed his positions,he wasn't able to settle down in a position to perform,and,when he wanted to play,injury struck him,before,the only thing he wanted to is settle to a position,whether if he is no.8 or no.10,he still performs,the big problem is he wasn't able to do that,because,both ole and mourinho didn't know how to use him properly,if you see on deschamps's France team,the whole midfield was knit around him,so,that,he can play his own way,since,there was quality players like kante backing him,but in United, just see who he was made to play with,lingard, andreas etc,so,he didn't have the luxury to have play comfortably,but,this season,I definitely believe this season cold be pogba's best at United, since has the quality backing him up and ole now finding perfect mixture of players for the team,just wait and see,pogba will perform very well this season.
