Actually it would be funnier if the opposite happened, if Conan dies first and Rudd speaks at his memorial service, and when he says that they're gonna play a retrospective clip of his life and career, and the thinks it's gonna be that, it's gonna be "Mac and Me", like Conan's payback prank. :p

It was on The Carol Burnett Show (which was a live audience) and the cast starts breaking. They can't hold back and it's just funny. Funniest is him keeping a straight face.

Then the titles watching him roll down the hill and off the cliff with the screen saying “anchorman 2” (dark but funny), “living with yourself”, (nice touch adding a second Mac), “our idiot brother”, “role models”, etc. The ant man splice was classic
