I view trance dj's as a family with multiple generations. PvD is the grandfather, tiesto is his estranged brother, AvB the eldest sibling groomed to take the family business into the future, GO is the family genius and Will Atkinson is the deranged nephew 😂

European crowds are so tame at these trance festivals compared to Americans. In America, everyone is half naked rolling balls on ecstasy with light shows and crazy shit. It’s a more lively crowd that’s for sure.

There is a reason all the top djs are in their 50s, only Armin is 46. These guys made trance what it is today, now we have pop singers adding electronic beats to their music , and new generations think is trance. This right here is real progressive trance! I encourage everyone to learn Paul Van Dyke's childhood story, learn what motivated him to make music when he wat stuck in communist Germany before the fall of the wall. You will feel this music on another level/meaning.

I’ve been listening to PVD since I was introduced to his first album. (2002) When CDs were the way you listened on repeat! I found a gem and followed him and his career. My first live show in my hometown Charlotte at the shows end I shouted in German “your music is so awesome!!” He heard me and reached his hand over the glass and shook my hand! Signed my 10dollar bill I have to this day! I met my fiancé at his show in ATL a year later! A beautiful baby girl now and happier than ever. I want to thank you PVD for all you contribute to the people and the fantastic music you produce and memories you make. Thank you PVD!!!
