The mystery figure is a 'Log' from Ren and Stimpy. They used to show mock adverts for utterly crap kid's toys, one of which was 'Log'. It was a log, but was advertised as being any toy you wanted it to be, including a dress up figure like Barbie or GI Joe. It was, of course, really expensive. And one of the funniest things (apart from Stimpy's furballs, and a Mudskipper that smoked constantly) in the show. It had a really chummy jingle, too.
