I have loved this song for a lot of years, My Mum is sadly suffering from vascular dementia. I do not beliieve she really knows me truly I am her youngest child of four. Anyway......I play this song all the time now. The words say eveything to me......and will in the near future. Thankyou Paul Weller, kind regards, Helen Burnley x

Paul Weller has always been one of my favorite artists of all time but the wishing thing always makes me think how little makes things happen you know, the hardest thing to do is wish for something that is more likely not to come true than it is to come true.just wishing that you could be with vb someone else and somewhere else won't make you be there because the mind won't allow your body to go with it. it just makes you feel like you're going crazy because one can't move with the other,like you're trying to move through a windstorm and never getting a foot ahead and you just end up like you're getting further away than closer and end up feeling like you miss them even more and feeling further apart..
