Wow! Voicing his little buddy, Jerry Mahoney, is how he perfected the voices of characters like Dick Dastardly, Gargamel, and Fleagle.

Paul Winchell is not just a excellent voice artist🎧🎙️🎚️🎛️, he is also the excellent puppet manipulator to his Good Ol' dummy pal, Jerry Mahoney.

Paul Winchell, who had medical training, was also an inventor, becoming the first person to build and patent a mechanical artificial heart, implantable in the chest cavity (US Patent #3097366).

I remember seeing this when I was about 5 years old. I specifically remember the part about the blackbird painting the window.

From the beginning of "Stop! Look and Laugh!" (1960), which supposedly took us through a "typical day" in the life of Paul, Jerry and Knucklehead. It started out THIS way....

who would have known they had something so good then? I thought Jeff Dunham was the pioneer in awesome ventriloquism. It seems Paul Winchell had it way before Jeff Dunham.

The relationship between these two individuals is unclear? Is this a father and son relationship or is a homosexual one? This segment indicates that the two sleep together in one bed. If it is a father and his teenage son, society norms would expect that "Jerry" should now be sleeping independently in his own bed and in his own room. If it is a homosexual male with his teenage "adopted" son; then the reason why "Jerry" is so sleepy is from last night's non-stop sexual activity with "Daddy".

Stop over thinking this. It's comedy, not a social commentary! They are a comedy team. You need to enjoy it for what it is and not look for deep social meanings to it! This is the reason political correctness has killed comedy! Jerry Seinfeld and Louis Black won't play colleges because of this kind of thinking! I'm hoping you're only kidding with these dumb questions. If not, you need to chill big time! Just enjoy the comedy!
