Ero presente all'incontro tra Karolina e Paula. Karolina disegna in campo il tennis, Paula gioca di forza, è un martello. Karolina interpreta il tennis alternando la forza di fondo campo con volè a rete. L'interpretazione della gara data da Karolina è stato perfetta, cercando di spezzare il gioco di Paula con palle smorzate a rete. Purtroppo non è stata molto precisa. Se al primo game del terzo set fossero entrate quelle due smorzate, il terzo set sarebbe andato a finire in modo diverso e Karolina avrebbe vinto la partita. Peccato. Karolina gioca un tennis completo, forza e creatività.

Another great match. Both girls fought their heart out. Really glad Badosa won this. It's a real shame she's in the top half and will run into Ostapenko in QF, and if she wins has to face Swiatek/Rybakina in the SF. Meanwhile the bottom half of the draw is wide open with Sabalenka out, Badosa can totally beat either of the Semifinalists coming up from that half - Kudermetova or Kalinina. But, one match at a time, hope she takes out the always complaining Pastapenko in the next round.
