I have my great grandmother's Banana Nut Cake recipe. She made it for years then her daughter and then my mother. So there are fond memories that came with this recipe when it was passed down to me. ❣️ And I've been making this cake for probably 50 years. I've made a few tweaks over the years but it's still a wonderful cake. I love baking cakes in my Bundt pan. And I've been making this cake in my bundt pan for quite a while and it comes out great and so pretty from the designs on the pan. I made a cake for a co-worker for a bridal shower we threw her. She didn't want icing so we took an artificial bouquet of flowers and placed them in the center of the cake. 💐 They fit perfectly and it was so elegant! 💗 This cake is so versatile and works for every occasion! And people love it! 💞 Thanks for sharing your recipe, which is precious memory for me. 🥰

We got married out of state from family, so had the reception months later when everyone could get together. I catered it myself, lol, and made my own cake! Lemon chiffon....everything was exquisite! RIP, my best friend 😢 💔

Have you ever tried a crock pot banana bread? It is sooo moist. Two hours in the pot and almost impossible to overbake /cook.

Paula I always use a tooth pick to check the doneness. If the tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean then you know it’s done. If not just bake it a few more minutes.

I love seeing Michael. He is so cute. I love to hear him laugh. I love Banana Nut Cake too. I don't put nuts in mine but I do in my Banana Nut Bread. I love Cream Cheese Icing, it is so amazing. I love anything with Cream Cheese. Paula, now you got me wanting a Banana Pound Cake. I have some carrots so I might make a carrot cake so I can use the carrots. As expensive food is, I sure hate to waste it. Carrot Cake would be good for Easter too, since it is next week. I wish I did not like cakes and pie and did not enjoy making scratch cakes. Lol
