Say what you want about Scott or Anthrax being the lesser of the Big Four, but the songs on Speak English or Die are some of the most bad ass riffs in all of thrash.

@@snuscaboose1942 they’re a thrash band from NY. The guitarist and drummer for S.O.D. are originally from Anthrax. You should check them out, they’re pretty legendary in the world of thrash metal.

Very hard to see the bass player‘s face but I don’t think that’s Frankie he never plays with a pic always uses his fingers and if that is him it’ll be the first time that I’ve ever seen him not use his fingers . The whole entire video is on Scott the whole time.

@@itsme5219 Frank is very used to using a pick tho. When he left Anthrax to play with Helmet for a bit, he used a pick. It could also just be Dan Lilker, the original bassist of Anthrax and bassist of SOD. He's got long shaggy hair like Frank.

Uh what? No one i know knows this riff at all. Everyone knows smoke on the water. Bad analogy. I will say i tried to do this for my talent show at my school in 8th grade and that riff literally scared the crap out of my teachers and they wouldn't let me play it!!!!! It was also the first song i ever heard that was drop tuned to d so i just tuned my whole guitar to d before i knew what was going on lol

Bill Milano was the singer of S.O.D., not Chuck Billy. He is the singer of Testament. But this was very cool.

A few guys from Anthrax in '85 said "Yo, let's do a side project and get Billy Milano to sing on it." Speak English Or Die ended up being the most imporant album in NYC Thrash/Hardcore.

I read once that Billy is no longer talking to Scott and/or Charlie, and that's why there is no new album or SOD reunion. Does anyone know if that's true? Oh, and don't forget he retired from music on 2015

Andrez Valiente unfortunately, that is true. Billy, Scott and Charlie had a falling out and are not on speaking terms. I haven't read any comments about it from either Scott or Charlie, but Billy has said a ton of less than nice things about Scott and Charlie. Maybe one day, if the stars align right, they may do a show or two. Weirder things have happened.

Yeah THIS is fire...Chuck Billy looks in fighting trim and sounds great. He nailed the vocals IMHO. Sound quality not perfect? no, but still EPIC. (The bass muddyness dominates the crunchy guitar a little ) My only complaint is that i really wanted to see the audience MOSH to March of the SOD
