0:31-0:42 is absolutely gorgeous by the way. From panic to the side shuffle and puff of breath that expresses determination and surprise that she hasn't fallen as she attempts to stabilize, then back to pure panic after she realizes she is losing complete control of her balance.

Does absolutely NO ONE realize that this perfectly recreates the video of some random dude (might've even been on Daily Dose of Internet) falling on ice for what must be 10 seconds straight? Fyi, the best way to avoid slipping on ice, is to lock your legs, unnecessary leg movement is your enemy. The more you move the more you slip. Walk mechanically, lift one foot and place it in front of the other, then shift balance and repeat. Don't try to walk normally, assume you have no traction and you'll be fine. Method 2: Embrace the slipperiness and begin sliding, same principle as ice skating, just harder since you have more friction and your friction is more even. The main problem with this is if you leave the ice the sudden traction will trip you unless you're ready for it.

I hope this scene happens in a future Mario movie or in the yet-to-be-announced Donkey Kong movie. (Not the dying part btw) This could show Pauline’s own values, flaws, good things and maybe backstory. This could show that she’s not a perfect mayor nor a perfect woman but a great one with a big heart of gold which is better than being perfect and the reason why she was elected as mayor of the city. And her sweet, sexy, beautiful singing voice is what gives the whole city, life and makes the people want to keep on living (metaphorically speaking)
