I think is kinda dissapointing... like... they been telling us the CRM was going to be the biggest enemy in the whole twd universe... and got destroyed in only one episode?? For real? I mean... 500 year plan to rebuild the world, the biggest military on the planet, managed to keep Rick Grimes locked in for 8 years and got wiped out in only ONE episode just because "Rick and Michonne together can do anything"? Like it seemed so unreallistic that in one episode they returned to cascadia base and were able to kill Beale, Thorne, the whole CRM army and military, make the civic republic and portland find out about the true evil intentions of the CRM and at the end returning safe and sound to Judith and RJ who were specifically there waiting for them to land? In only one episode. I mean i understand they wanted to give it and end and not make a season 2 or make movies, and give us the happy ending we wanted. But i feel it was at the very least... rushed. Like they made us thought Beale was the biggest menace of the whole universe... and he appeared less than Gareth, and was much easier to kill... then kill Thorne and the whole of the CRM in the same episode... it just seems odd to me, like, we got the ending we wanted, but way too soon, like everything went perfect and as planned for the first time in their lifes... in only one episode, when there were like 3 episodes which their point was Michonne trying to gain back the Rick Grimes she once knew. They spent a whole episode chasing Jadis so in the end she died, but in only one episode they wiped out the whole CRM, saved portland and told everyone the CRM was evil, killed Pearl Thorne, killed Beale, AND returned to their children all in an one hour lapsus?? I would feel like an idiot if i was with the endlings on the world beyond since their whole objective was doing the thing Rick and Michonne did in only ONE episode, and they couldn't do it on an entire season. Like... the world beyond was supposed to teach us about how dangerous the CRM, Jadis and Beale actually were... and they just ended them in one episode, very similar with what game of thrones did to the long night. But anyways, that's only what i believe and u may or not agree with me. Feel free to tell share your thoughts

@@tomasgetze4330I live in Philadelphia. This was so special to me. I go back to season 2. In the bar they showed brief clip. Dave from Philadelphia said Philly collapsed faster then any city. A lie,followed by saying Nebraska was safe(World Beyond) and islands having survivors Padre and he knew Fort Benning collapsed confirmed by Mitch ( Governor's guy with the tank) I always thought he was a undercover similar to Jadis and Huck. Beale has spies throughout the world and only 2500 soldiers were briefed. Now I loved this show. Except the ending. They took the CRM down that fast yet we are left with the villains in Dead City ( unless Negan becomes old Negan) and the lady in France. If no more Rick then may just let it be. I love Darryl and Negan. But getting Rick back only showed what nobody wanted to admit. He's needed its his story. And CRM was supposed be the true big bad. Full weaponry. Commonwealth soldiers are just bodies. CRM wasn't. Beale son better rise but never kill Rick. This Walking Dead. If the way this show ended and the universe should have. We got more story then things need to be at least in middle. They announced spinoffs taking excitement away. We know certain people won't die. They can announce them with zero details until the show finales. This show they are teasing us. The CRM origins was also weak writing. I know army fought the national guard after operation cobalt. But this unit should been a special forces unit that added the national guard for numbers. 250,000 plus and only 2,500 were at this level. The army or the council has have villain because if you saw they got one ring now. Sorry for my rant but this better not be the end. They should brought everyone in like Brake offered and then had the group destroy the army from with in. But can't have the group easily win either. I hope Negan rises in power again.

@@Blazedreptile His acting wasn't the problem. I don't blame the guy for likely having hard feelings towards Scott Gimple because he was the actual problem. Chandler was getting ready for college, however he had also just bought a house that was super close to the set where they all work on the show. But Gimple fires him anyway because he didn't want to start paying Chandler the main-character adult rate. So it was solely due to Gimple being cheap. If Gimple cared about the writing of the show and its future, he should've sucked it up and kept Chandler on anyway because Carl was supposed to be the ONE character who can't be killed off, it's HIS legacy but instead they gave his arc to Judith who isn't even a blooded Grimes, and the actress is under 18 so they also felt better about not having to pay her what they would've had to pay Carl. Seriously though, Carl was supposed to have some major significance during the Whisperers & Commonwealth arcs and nobody can deny that we'd have all liked to see how that could've been. That being said, to answer your question, Chandler has always had other passions and hobbies in mind such as streaming and music. What has he done since? Exactly those things, though I think lately more so music. He's doing what he enjoys now that he's an adult. While it may not be more acting he's doing, it doesn't mean he's bad at it. He was put into the role of Carl super young, he probably had no say, very few children do until they grow up, but he got older and probably after having to leave TWD, he likely didn't care as much about acting anymore anyway and just pursued what interested him more.

The truth is. Rick almost agreed but he knew that Beale knew from the start. Okafor. Michonne. The four escapes and suddenly rising so close to power. Rick figured it out that though Beale said he'd be willing to take that chance. Rick couldn't because he remembers from season 5-6. He couldn't take chances anymore. So he didn't.

@patrickk___
@patrickk___ 4 ай бұрын
Gimple killing off Carl ruined the series. They lost viewership after the Negan Lineup but it got worse after Carl died, ultimately ruining the show plot wise and budget wise after Rick left. Rick leaving the show wouldn’t have mattered had they kept Carl alive. Could’ve extended every arc after the Bridge/Rick Arc with Carl as the main and leader of the groups. Having everyone essentially worship Carl like a King riding for him through every battle. Carl could’ve then sent out Scout Teams in search of his father. Would’ve made more realistic reasons for Morgan to leave, Michonne to be gone, and could’ve sent out a couple other characters as well to avoid a bunch of character kill offs. King Ezekiel could’ve taken Carl under his wing since he doesn’t die in the Whisperer Border, making Carl a better Leader and also making people like Ezekiel more before having him take Ricks Comic Book death during the Commonwealth Arc. Carl would’ve been a better leader with more character buildup, extending the Commonwealth Arc with the search of Carl and a bunch of small skirmishes and battles with Commonwealth until Carl ultimately clears his name with the help of Mercer who still takes leadership of the Commonwealth. Carl could’ve been the lead of the series having him go through tough situations without his father. Carl should’ve never been killed off.

Where did Beale get the plan? He didn't make it. This is a man who uses an electric kettle directly beside a valued heirloom cast iron teapot. Everything you need to know about Beale is right there. He's a knowledgeable enough man, with considerate friends - who has no idea how to make tea properly, or the value in making it a traditional way. He said, "We". His models don't just span the U.S., those models span the globe. How'd he get that data? That's an open ended question you should ask yourself, because *someone* fed him that intel. He didn't make it himself. Someone else is in charge, not Beale, because it's the advisor that guides that rules a country. Beale's pedigree is minor at best, he's respectable enough - but not enough to be running this entire army. Rick knows this intuitively. Beale's modeling can't account for single advances in anti-zombie defenses, a single innovation and BOOM, the whole model falls apart. Why? Because he's trying to legitimize his original thesis. That one army needed to die for another. His first cowardice was killing one unit for another, sacrificing one city for the other... that decision he stacks confirmation bias on confirmation bias on. This army's resources are plenty to kill even millions of zombies. And they have people poking them with sticks through walls when a pendulum, a pulley, and two guys could do that exact same job. Beale base's his models on what he understands - but he said it himself. He never actually goes out and kills zombies. He has people swearing on a sword that's actually a terribly ineffective weapon for killing zombies. Too fragile to pierce a skull over and over, too slippery, and no wait to push an enemy or crossbar them. Beale's *insane*. But where did he get those models from? The tea kettle says it all. Somebody gave him a piece of data he doesn't understand and gleaned that suicide was the best option. Sure, running and hiding is his plan - but that's suicide. You don't sacrifice 3 cities to save 1. You don't bomb your own people on a vague threat a computer analyst projects. The truth is he was handed the resources to stop this entire conflict, but did next to nothing for 10 years... just because he can't figure out how to use 2 tools effectively. He doesn't understand them, he can use them, but he never does. A single helicopter, a boombox and a pit is all you need. We've seen Carol take out a herd of hundreds with a cliff. We're at the *end* of Beale's failure of command, not at the beginning. But the most important thing is that tea kettle. Where'd he get such a classy thing? What is its greater meaning? Take a good look at it. Hint - nowhere near here. All of TWD is a treatise on World History. Every episode is PACKED with references, they're slowly going through it all right now. The Commonwealth? French Revolution. The Quarry in the beginning? Pre-history, stone age. Andrea finding a mermaid in a store? First appearances of sea creatures in mythology. It's history in fast forward. Everything they have, from the sheriff's star, to the hat, to the gun Rick uses for most of the show - all references. Ezekiel? Arthurian Chivalry. Those are the easy ones. We're at WWI. Beale is Franze Ferdinand. "The Great War". That's where we are. So where did Beale get this tea kettle? What does it signify? Who gave him this data that he's misconstruing? Who destroyed the French vaccine trials and cut them off from the CDC and information networks when they were on the verge of a major breakthrough? Who's ordering shipping containers in France to be filled with undead? Who's paying a premium for art in France with deep deep pockets? Who's making serums to make undead stronger? This deal was rotten from the start, but Beale certainly isn't the one really in charge. He's at best a paramilitary guru at this point. Who really convinced him this was all for naught? There was no deal on this table, suicide, murder and cannibalism are all things Rick's seen before. This isn't a deal. It's just another excuse to kill each other. ... but there will be someone down the line who has a real offer, the final offer, and then Rick is going to have to make a real choice. I don't know who specifically figured it all out, but I'll tell ya, it'll be one hell of an offer. They're going to offer someone, likely Rick, a real offer down the line - the kind you really do have to consider. They're gonna offer him real, true, unstoppable life. And then he's really gonna have to choose. Everything you need to figure that out is in that tea kettle. That gift is hugely significant. Whoever manipulated Beale and all of TWD, gave Beale something to consider deeply and Beale didn't even take the time to learn to use it. He spent more time fiddling with Rick's iron hand than figuring out that tea kettle. Even the person who put out the table knew better than Beale in this regard. Had Beale understood the point of that tea kettle, he wouldn't be dead right now. Hint, imagine serving with it. That gift was meant to teach him what really matters and he squandered it. Had he considered it deeply, he would never have been caught off guard by Rick. ... and Rick might've realized what he missed here too. Good luck figuring it out, take your time with it.

@@geovanialvarez7744 Pay attention to the tea kettle's behind Beale. Says everything you need to know about Beale, all at once. Rick sat out front of a camp stabbing zombies with a stick, through a wall, for years. A pendulum and a pit could've done that same job. Beale said he'd never done that kind of work - 10 years of surviving the zombie apocalypse, never went out ranging even once. Beale's plan is based on his own philosophy - dictators throughout history have made "scientific studies" that give them confirmation bias. Beale chose to kill his men, to cannabalize their resources - this redactionism plagued this force for 10 years. The tea kettle's are exactly this dichotomy. Everything you need to know about Beale is sitting at that table. Ponder that kettle, think about its meaning. All of TWD is a giant treatise on world history. The commonwealth? French revolution. Season 2? Agriculturalism. Season 1? Pre-history, stone age, age of fire. Every item has significance - the sheriff star, the hat, the gun. All symbols of ancient history. When you see TWD this way, suddenly it all has meaning. This is World War I. Beale is Franz Ferdinand, and he's just been assassinated. Why does he have an ancient iron tea kettle next to a modern electric kettle? How does he serve tea? ... everything you need to know about this man's plan is right there. A treatise on overabundance and misappropriation of resources right there. And more. Where do you think he got that kettle? Hint: Likely the same people who handed him global satelite data he couldn't have gotten on his own. If he had a satelite feed he wouldn't need Jadis to find the Commonwealth. So where'd he get the data? Keep staring at those tea kettle's until it makes sense. It's all right there, layer on layer. There's a reason Rick doesn't ever drink his tea and it isn't because he's unsettled by this conversation, or fear of poison. You figure that out, you're on the right track. And then think, who gave him that kettle? Why did they give him such a thoughtful gift? And it'll all make sense.

It's easy to think the promise of safety is worth anything. But Carl didn't die tragically trying to save his own life. He died saving Alexandria, and given the choice Carl would've done it again, and again, and again. He lost his eye doing that, he truly met Negan trying to stop the killing, he cared about Negan despite him being a killer. It wasn't Rick's job to save Carl. Carl saved Rick. This "suffering" is what makes Rick not Beale. And watching Beale cut the cake in half constantly, endlessly, until it was you or him - might was well just do it now. Because that's the real answer to Beale's initial conundrum. Trying to save two forces defending two different sides. *He didn't send his own men, or himself*. He divided his forces into 3, not 2, and when it matters he'll always do that. And has always done that. And has killed so, so many people. Carl wouldn't want Rick to do this, but they were out of time. Beale's not gonna be talked down. Even Carl would've killed this man, a younger man who would've jumped the same table and made the same call. Beale's gone totally mad. Fear - not just fear of death, but fear of making the wrong decision. His wrong decisions became the right decisions only because he dictated the terms of history. But Rick would never split his people and condemn them to die like that. There was no deal here. Just a stay of execution. Life's a wild thing, moments like this are so much more than they appear. And then there's the tea kettle's. That's the ruin of this man's ideology right there in front of him. You can unpack everything you need to know about past, present and future from those tea kettles. Try it. You'll see.
