The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Zuffa, a wholly owned subsidiary of Endeavor Group Holdings. It is the largest MMA promotion company in the world as of 2011. It produces events worldwide that showcase 12 weight divisions (eight men's and four women's) and abides by the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts. As of 2022, it had held over 600 events. Hard to tell if he’s above, tied, or right below aldo… but he’s above everyone else from Cejudo down. 10 of his 30 fights (1/3 were Championship Wins), 16 of his 30 fights were for Championships, 3 combined heavyweight title defenses, 3x Heavyweight Champion (the only man to do so), 2x Light Heavyweight Championship, 1x Light Heavyweight Championship which he unified when he beat a much younger Tito Ortiz when he was 40 years old, beat 7 UFC World Champions, did the first ever MMA vs Boxing Crossover 7 years before Conor McGregor, was the first man to hold belts in two weight division, and was the oldest UFC Champion to ever hold a belt, and of course he did this is a span of 14 years starting at the age of 33 after being an Olympic wrestling alternate. So somewhere around Top 5ish. No lower than 6.

Fedor wasn't in the UFC he was Pride HW champ and Rings champ. Fedor has 5 losses all after hitting 40. He went on a 8 year 27 fight win streak when pride hw division was stacked and UFCs Champs were people like Arlovski and Tim Sylvia. Which Fedor beat both....one in 36 seconds the other the 3rd minute of rd 1

Excellent video - thanks for that!! Just sharing my opinion, since this list is one that is based on personal opinions and preferences. I having competed in club amateur boxing and wrestling in South Africa, we also got those country strong farmboys like Matt Hughes - standing out is not easy, I was average in wrestling, not a world beater by any measure, a little better at boxing, but I was there to have extra mural activities to keep me competitive and bust in school - thus, I can't tell yall how impressive Henry "CCC" Cejudo winning gold, in the weight class he did at 18 or 19 years old is an extremely legit accomplishment - one in a million isn't even close. That being said he should be higher than Dom Cruz, GSP should be 1 or 2 minimum. Anyone agree, not knocking - just nice to know. Thanks again for taking the effort to make such cool videos.

Wow! Well done Paul this top10 video is brilliant! In my humble opinion it's the most accurate correct and true list out there so far. I like how you have Fedor and Conor in it too but I think they both could have been in the actual list somewhere...im also torn between St.pierre and Jones being the best in my humble opinion and my favourite fighters but never the less this video is still the best list of top10 greatest fighters in the UFC at the end of the day I respect and agree with the list..

I was into UFC back in like 2010, right about when the Ultimate fighter kicked off, glad some of the fighters I remember from then are still recognized.... I wouldn't have a clue now who's fighting haha. I have Matt Hugh's and Chuck Liddell's books haha, read em both.

I love MMA and a list of the greatest in their primes..I like how you did that, it's different but makes more sense than judging them on their overalls careers. I do have to say that going to church doesn't make you good or bad. Dennis Rader was the president of his congregation but was also the BTK serial killer. I've heard some bad stories about Matt hughes, he used to be my idol, now i spit on the ground he walks on, but he still belongs on this list. He's top 10 greatest all time easy. For now.

No weight class limits goes to Jon Jones. Khabib takes the cake for his own weight class though. Would be legendary to possibly see those two in their primes in the same weight class

Should try a video that doesn't make a list. BUT. A video that goes over a vast array of some of the most impressive MMA fighters the sport has ever seen. (Just based off their peak skills, not legacy stats) could even be a multi part video collection. Covering different era's, fighting styles, attributes, etc. Just to make a collection of the most interesting, talented, entertaining. Not giving a #1 spot, but making a hodge podge mashup of awesome MMA content.

He’s gonna win. A locked in Jon, even at 35, is an unbeatable force. I don’t see how Gane beats him. I truly believe the only way Jon will be beat is either by Father Time later on, or you completely shut his lights off.

But we all know Jon is not going to stand up with him and even when they are on the feet Jon still has the fight IQ advantage and reach. Gonna be interesting. Ring rust and about 20 extra fight night pounds will definitely cause a slow first few rounds.

Khabib is way more dominant but aldo has numbers on his side. Also about fighting only strikers khabib never declined a fight against anyone.And most people will fight lower level competition during the early stages of their careers you can look at conor or Aldo and the first 5-10 fights of their careers mostly they are cans too

I think for me, it Hass to be GSP just because nothing had ever popped up when he got tested. Sure I do agree with most people John Jones should be the goat if not, the only thing most people say that stops him from being the goat is that he was flagged multiple times which if I’m not mistaken you’re automatically taken out of that category but yes he should be the goat. Hell I agree with it it’s just if anything and I know I’m gonna get hate for this it would be GSP Demetrious Johnson, Daniel Cormier, and I already know they’re going to say John Jones beat him but yes, I have to go with GSP and yes I know I’m gonna get hate for this.

Aldo would be way higher if he hadn't given up the fastest knockout in UFC history to McGregor while still in his relative prime, and then never avenged the loss. Ouch! If Aldo is way higher on the list, then you can't really not have McGregor ranked at all, if not ranked higher than Aldo, and apparently the producer of this video wasn't ready to do that, and so Aldo finds himself probably lucky to even be on this list after such an embarrassing loss, one which he obviously never got over.

@@kendbrowns I think Aldo for sure deserves a higher place He had many title defenses and dominated a weight class on a different level against many different enemies Yes Conor beat him and was a double champ But would he all in all deserve to get mentioned on one level with Aldo? I don't think so, and I wouldn't call Aldo's loss embarassing I mean Conor was a very dangerous striker in his prime and probably one of the best He just outstriked Aldo very fast but yeah even after Aldo lost he still challenged himself and was fighting top contenders after his loss like a warrior would do while Conor got mauled in the biggest fight in the history of the sport and is right now having a much harder time than Aldo after his big loss But this is just my opinion brother I think Aldo deserves a big place on this list(btw fastest knockout was Masvidal's flying knee)

You can't really judge a guy who has done everything there is to do in MMA, gone on to make millions in boxing and bad whiskey, becoming a phenomenon in the process, and still comes back and fights guys that he already beat decisively, or an undefeated legend like Khabib. You don't judge an athlete based on their final years in their respective sport. You look at a fighter in their prime, and if McGregor had stayed at 145 or 55?, and doesn't fight Diaz, there's no telling how long he could've been welterweight and lightweight champion. Putting Aldo above McGregor is like putting Spinks before Tyson.

Henry Сejudo is a double UFC champion with an Olympic gold medal in wrestling. NO ONE and NEVER has won a UFC gold after winning the Olympics. He defended both belts and can be said to have closed his only loss to Demetrious Johnson(imo, Сejudo got robbed in a fight with Benavidez) Volkanovski is a great fighter and a tough champion, one of the top 5 greatest FWs, but not the greatest fighters. Usman is good too, but might as well add Israel Adesanya to that list. Then again, talking about GOAT is always a subjective opinion. And it's one that I have.
