Anthony Kewoa Johnson[5] (March 6, 1984 - November 13, 2022) was an American mixed martial artist. He spent most of his career competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was a multiple time title challenger, before ending his career with a single fight with Bellator MMA. He fought in the welterweight and light heavyweight divisions. He was known by his nickname, Rumble, which he was given because of his one-punch knockout power. He also had a small acting role as a fighter in a large international mixed martial arts tournament called Sparta in the 2011 film Warrior.[6]

Rumble was a humble and honorable warrior. His greatness will never be forgotten. He is missed! We are heart broken. I am a mma fan. He touched all our hearts and was one the most exciting fighters!

One of the most remarkable and sad stories, dude was a savage pretty much all his fights right from when he started at welterweight I watched live, he was always high energy and brought it every time, true legend will never be forgotten.

Absolutely heartbreaking. One of the greatest human beings we've seen step in an Octagon, and an absolute savage in the fight game. The hardest part is that he still had so much potential. I was hoping he would return after his UFC retirement to HW and become UFC champ yet again, and it was absolutely in the realm of possibility to make that run if it wasn't for his health. I'm honored to have seen his last fight in the UFC in Buffalo.

When he fought Gustafson he knew right away with the big guy that you got to go right at him stay inside and get it to the ground and just start wailing there is no time to dance around with the guy like Alex, great job Anthony Rumble Johnson you really put it on them in that fight as you did many others I Miss and loved watching you fight brother God bless you rest in peace.

RUMBLE was taken from us too soon. He was an amazing fighter and athlete. Every time he entered that Octagon you knew he was gonna give it his all and somehow land a haymaker to knock somebody out. RIP 🙏🏼 🪦 RUMBLE .. it was an honor to be your fan and I'm glad I got to see you fight in the UFC.

Me and my circle of friends who watch fights always said if there was a man who would beat Jon Jones it would be Rumble Johnson. What a legend he was and the loss of him will be felt for many, many years.

And looking back when he first said he was leaving the fight game to do other things, now we know what it was for and it had to be I know he went and fought a couple of fights another promotions but there weren't many so now that you look back at him saying right here that he loved staying in shape training and fighting Etc and having to leave something you love it has to take a lot now you know what it was.. rest easy rest in peace Rumble God bless.

I remember a few years back, Rumble was at my gym in Castro Valley California, I was leaving the gym and he was at the door, I told him he will win the belt one day, he shook my hand and said thanks, even in the beginning of his career in mma, he was a humble guy, soft spoken and pleasant, a few weeks later he would move to Florida, it's sad he wasn't able to see his dream become reality, Rest In Peace my brother, condolences to his family and love ones.
