With surveying taking place quite far into the park + the additional space that Paultons have acquired behind Edge with permission to build on it we could very well be seeing their biggest area to date!

Imagine if they are doing a Plopsa, building a random world-leading extreme coaster in a mostly kids park. I would be so here for it

Wow, this ties in perfectly. Paultons themselves have confirmed that raging river ride is going and being replaced by another water ride, and also paultons confirmed that go karts are going. This ties in perfectly for the Viking area.

Was at the event on Saturday, and I can't wait to see what this project turns out to be!

I feel like the Magma drop tower would just get moved over to The Lost Kingdom as thematicaly it fits right in with it.

I too did automatically think "inverting coaster" after seeing that teaser but... you could look at it as "turning your expectations upsdie down". People Think of Paultons as a kiddie park but they are clearly trying to apeal to everyone with their recent additions. That area is huge though If you look on google.... A water coaster would fit nicely around there! But! Imagine a nice wooden coaster station where the go karts are leading out to a huge lift hill and dropping into a layout round the back! What a back grop to the new area that would be! What ever they do you know it's gonna be top notch and themed to the nines so I'm excited!!

The paultons Park family is so much better at theme parks compared to Merlin, they even jet wash all their rides

Maybe we could get a water coaster and a hybrid? Paultons need something with an inversion to compete with Mandrill so while there is a good chance it is a wind up, it would be very logical and fit a viking theme.

I have 2 thing to say in regards to both the 2026 new coaster and a hidden theory behind the teaser trailer. Firstly with a potential new coaster coming in 2026, I highly doubt that an RMC Hybrid coaster will be lined up for 2026. Giving the fact that Paultons operates to a more family direction, I personally think that a coaster like that maybe going a bit to far over the key element to the park. However, from what I can think of, like Chessington for example, a park operating in a family direction. It opened it's family wing coaster Mandrill Mayhem that has 1 inversion with a height restriction of 1.2m, what if Paultons is digging deep into finding a coaster in comparison with the same thrill level and same height restriction like Mandrill Mayhem. Something like that could be positive, even if trying to find a perfect coaster with just 1 inversion might just fit perfectly to some "beginners" to experience a coaster with an inversion. Secondly, after watching the teaser, if it's not a new coaster for 2026, I believe a lot of us are expecting a Vikings area coming (mostly on the western side of the park. However in my vision, if it was suppose to be a new flat ride, after thinking real deeply from looking at the trailer, there's only 1 flat ride that got me wondering "will this be added to 2026?" and that flat ride is a "top spin". That's all of my theories, I did all my best to explain clearly.

Might not just be one new coaster could be Multiple like a water coaster, wooden coaster Hybrid and a Mack Launch Coaster plenty of space for more than one can they build past edge there is a large green soace back there

Was at the event too. Personally, I didn't think RMC at all. My initial thoughts were Paulton's first ride to go upside down, with a viking theme. At the end of the presentation, during the questions someone asked if they intended to go back to the area where cobra is and bring the theming up to the standard of the rest of the park. Which they kinda said yes, but with very little else said. I think you've hit the nail on the head here.

No offence, but Paulton's needs an RMC like a motorbike needs an ashtray - I can believe they will add a new coaster with the vikings area, but based on their existing relationship with Mack Rides, and the demographic of the park, I'd think it was far more likely to be some kind of family multilaunch than an RMC hybrid

All I'll suggest is to watch the pepoa pig 360 ride povand exiting the station, ramipril turn the camera toward the back of the station on the right..... And (unfortunately someone pointed this out on a different channel before I had chance to do so.... And food for thought.

I'm going with a modern vekoma inverted coaster. Speaking of which, are you going to the opening of Tir Na Nog? Or maybe any other moment this year?

For me Paultons is 4 hours and £42 in petrol each way, so it would take quite a special investment to get me down there. I'd love to experience their theming but at the moment I'd only go if I was already on the south coast for whatever reason. Also if they want to lose the reputation of being a kiddies park they need to change their official Google maps name away from 'Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World'

I can see them building an RMC 100% With universal possibly coming and Hyperia opening they need something big to compete!

I feel like Paultons probably don't have a massive budget,. not small hence the theming, but still I imagine an RMC is rather expensive for them not to mention the constant maintenance and replacement wood needs

What's up with UK parks teasing thoosies with RMC's, Thorpe being the worst offender, towers joined in last year and now Paultons too, they need to quit playing and give us one 😂.

I've always had a feeling since Cyclonator that Paultons Park were looking to do a Plopsaland and expand into a wider demographic. The public seem to see it primarily as Peppa Pig World when in reality, it fits closer into the "For Everyone" demographic like Chessington, Alton Towers and Drayton Manor. I definitely interpreted this as Paultons Park finally getting a rollercoaster with at least one inversion (much like Mandrill Mayhem and the Wave). An RMC would put the park on the map however I think we're more likely to see a multi launch rollercoaster as the headline act. I'd love to see a more substantial flume style ride join it though. I certainly think a more thrilling coaster will put the park on the map to a wider audience and might help people see the park as more than just Peppa Pig. 😊

Vikings though? Did they see Drayton Manor and go fuck you we'll do it better? 🤣 Tbh I think they can though.
