About Pauly Shore:
Pauly Shore tasted super-stardom in 1990 when his MTV show “Totally Pauly” hit the airwaves to major fan approval. The show ran for six years, leading Pauly to a one-hour HBO comedy special, “Pauly Does Dallas” and starring roles in films like “Jury Duty,” “In the Army Now,” “Bio-Dome,” “Encino Man,” “Son In Law,” and “A Goofy Movie.”
Pauly went on to produce and star in several of his own projects, including “Pauly Shore is Dead” (amzn.to/2JOF1iv), as well as the comedy specials “Vegas is My Oyster,” starring Andy Dick, Tom Green, Bobby Lee, and “Pauly-Tics” (amzn.to/2sOIwvR), starring Herman Cain and Larry King.
In 2014, he released “Pauly Shore Stands Alone” (amzn.to/2t4z8Ub), a true-life road documentary that follows Pauly as he performs in obscure towns throughout Wisconsin while dealing with his personal life. It appeared on Showtime and is available on Amazon Prime. Other recent projects include Adam Sandler's "Sandy Wexler," the short film "Sin City Psycho," and the movie "Guest House" (coming soon).
Pauly released a series of video interviews in 2017 called the “Pauly Shore Podcast Show.” His guests included Judd Apatow, Iliza Shlesinger, Ziggy Marley, Brett Ratner, Daymond John, Harland Williams, Fred Durst, David Faustino, Doug Herzog, Dexter Holland, Bob Saget and more (bit.ly/podshowP....
Currently, Pauly has a weekly, Big Brother-style video podcast called “Pauly Shore’s Random Rants” which you can find on Soundcloud, iTunes, Stitcher and KZfaq (bit.ly/rantsPau...)
Apart from actively touring the country with his stand-up comedy (bit.ly/PaulyTour), Pauly is working on a documentary of his life that spans the 1960s, ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.

@First Munch To love another, you must first love yourself. Way deeper than "pussy on tap," but , that all in the eye of the individual. I would have to say, while there are definitely people who live "that life," for the most part, as we get older, MOST of us are done with the kid stuff and want that "one" to be there for the best part of our lives. And what it's also important, is.......when that "one " finds you; they could very well be the window into your soul, who shows you the way . And while they cannot do the work for you, they WILL walk through life with you; always. And, that's how you know she's the one🥰

This took me back... to The Comic Strip about 6 years ago and being invited to pre-screen a new documentary by none other than the great Pauly Shore. Its funny where life takes us. I am no longer in El Paso, but just outside Rochester, MN, where I cover a territory encompassing most of where this film was shot. Age isn't kind to most of us, we just have to remember to keep driving forward, and picking up the pieces when our loved ones cannot. I remember learning of your mother's ailment before this film, but this film made it real for many of us. I still appreciate how you refused to put her on camera in order to preserve her legacy how she was, not how she became toward the end. When I heard of her passing, I remember thinking that she finally found herself again in whatever follows this life. Hopefully the stress has lessened in the past couple years. I would love to hang out and "party" in a totally middle-aged-friendly manner (no Mayor Nik here) the next time you are up this way... and perhaps we'll run into Patience again? LOL Don't worry... we'll be home way before midnight.

Oh my sweet, sweet Pauly.... For the first 7 years of my life, I watched my Daddy slowly die... You see, there was a woman who made a broken WW2 Paratrooper feel love for the first time in his life and she was never replaced. When she suddenly died we all died. I was 6 months old that day, she was age 39. For the next 7 years, I watched him deteriate. But by his own hand. Just love her. And tell her every day... I pray for you and your family to have peace and comfort....🙏

Watching you in your movies and on MTV was what saved me when I was young. I had a very hard childhood and young adulthood. You were my piece of sunshine happiness in a dark world. The dude was everywhere television (MTV), movies, comedy cd’s, selling out venues and then overnight he was no where. Hollywood definitely did him dirty. Also a lot of people don’t know that Pauly’s mother, Mitzi Shore (RIP 1930-2018) was one of most, if not the most influential behind the scenes, well respected people in the comedy business. She has helped literally every comic that we all know and love today. Especially her son, Pauly Shore, your great dog!

My father passed in January, he was like both parents and a best friend to me and every day since then has been a miserable struggle of loneliness and depression. This was awesome to watch and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me cry. 💙

Man I could watch this documentary for ever . To see the ups and downs of people that have made it into tv and your still a normal person at the end of the day and real problems happen that we never get to see . Sorry about your mom I lost my dad two years and it still stings everyday but he taught me a lot and I can use those tools today .

Pauly Shore, my name is Ryan Rogers from NC and I just want u to know that no matter how many movies Hollywood gave u, u will always be my single favorite actor by far! I can recite everyone of your movies from beginning to end without even hitting play, you're absolutely hilarious & i respect u more than u can ever know for all u have been through but still take the time to take care of your mother, she's definitely in my prayers bro. After getting home from Afghanistan in 2008 i had to witness my father take his own life right in front of me with a handgun & shortly after my mother started having bad health issues & just last year she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer & alzheimers so I really respect u taking care of your mom, cuz I've been taking care of mine for the past few years & it's really tough! But always keep your head up & know you're one of the best comedian/actor's of all time & a great person. God bless you and your family.

What a wonderful documentary this is and I meant to tell you on your Live chat how much I enjoyed watching it when I came across it a few years ago! I loved the part when you invited one of your fans to your next show and hung out with her afterwards. I remember the first time I saw you on MTV back in the day and said something that cracked me up! 😂 Wow where did all those years go!

I both love and hate Pauly Shore. I grew up watching his movies and just love his work. HOWEVER! I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2004 and got 1171 as an MOS. I signed up for machinegunner, but i got Basic Hygiene Equipment operator. I asked the guy what the hell that was, and i was told..." Have you ever seen that movie with Pauly Shore 'In the Army Now'? Well thats what you do." Yes, i did Pauly Shores movie job, in real life. But every time anyone asks what i did, i just tell them, "Go watch In the Army Now with Pauly Shore, and youll figure it out. I wanted to be a machinegunner....😆

Pauly, no joke, I really enjoy this documentary. I was thinking about it the other day, the part where you went to Wisconsin where your parents met and you talked to your dad about it. It's touching. Thanks for posting a legit version of it so we can all watch it. Love you, bud.

I just found out about this documentary after seeing the suggestion for this once I finished watching “Pauly Shore Is Dead”. My best friend and I saw Pauly perform live in DC last night, we went to the early show because I’m an “old” 41 year old. His stand up set is hilarious, he shows his sweet and goofy side with hints of vulnerability (which are also apparent in the two documentaries) but it doesn’t come off like we need to pity him. If you’re reading this Pauly, thank you for the smiles and laughs, whether they were at you/with you. Your movies provided me with an escape to just feel happy and pause from the hectic reality of growing up/feeling out of place. PS - does anybody know what the name of the song and artist that’s playing in the end credits? PPS - this year it’ll be 20 years since I lost my Mom and anyone that says that “time heals all wounds” is lying. It makes the grieving easier but it’s a weird rollercoaster of emotions, some days are bitter but other days are better 💜
