I never understood or i never liked to watch these kinds of movies UNTIL i lost my Grandfather.... First time experienced how it feels to lose someone so close. The never ending "crying", "missing the time spent with him", "watching photos of/with him". sometimes even forgetting that he's gone for real.... Etc.

This scene is reminiscent of difficult times I faced during covid 2nd wave. I lost both my dad and mom in span of 2 days, I couldn't do a thing. Even a last hug to them was not possible as their bodies were wrapped in bags. I was lucky that atleast I could see their faces and take them for cremation. For over a span of 3 months, I used to call for " Aai" (my mom) but only to realize that she is not there to respond me back. At the time I was 45 years but my parents demise gave me lot of pain. The actor in the scene has done incredible job, first he calls for his mom naturally and the next moment realizes her absence. His facial expressions tells a lot.

Last year, my best friend who is also my boyfriend..his mother was diagnosed with blood cancer. Survival rate was extremely low as it was spreading too fast in her body. I still remember we were all making all efforts, left no stone unturned for her. And he was desperately doing every ounce to save his mother. One day i was feeling very hopeless, and i just started watching this movie. I couldn't stop myself crying the whole time. Unfortunately after four days we lost her. This scene gives me shiver as i always connect this movie with the loss we felt and imagine his face calling out for his mom for the last time. That day has been a nightmare for him and for me witnessing him drenched in pain was unable to speak. He is just 26 years.. losing your parent especially at young age is heart wrenching. And mothers are.. always there with you. When that person goes away, its like half of the life has gone away with her. I wish every person who lost their parent, that keep courage and make them proud of you❤
