Marvelous! At the age of 52!!! Although he transposed this aria by half a tone down, the charm of this performance is not lost.

Todo el repertorio operático debería ya cantarse medio tono más bajo, sonaría más cálido, como sonaba originalmente. En esta versión Pavarotti canta con gran comodidad y belleza justamente por esa transposición

Eso no es cierto, por eso hay voces para cada tipo de papel, para que se pueda hacer cómodamente. Tanto el repertorio de Donizetti como el de Rossini suelen ser cantados por voces más ligeras.
