My skateboarding babysitter gave me a pavement T-shirt when I was 10. I remember an older kid saw me on the street and said "what the fuck! where did you get that T-shirt kid?"

Great band, I saw them around 1993/4 at the Glasgow QMU and they put on a good show. They were clearly trying to push the limits of what would be considered rock music, some of their experiments were more successful than others but overall more hits than misses.

I met Lance Bangs while filming Sleater Kinney in San Diego 1999. We talked about trading videos. I sent him my copy like I told him I would. He never sent me anything. Responded a few times though email, but just totally blew me off.............. total bummer dude

i collect vintage tees & can't help but check out all the great ones here... like SM wearing the "fuck art, let's dance" tshirt (pretty sure it's a Stiff Records tee).... my fav tho, is at 15:17 bob is wearing a very early World Industries (skateboard company) shirt with their pitchfork logo, from the late 80s.. i still have that shirt in my closet... i know, BFD... but i've always been a crazy shirt collector...

I was at the WV show... it sucked... I was probably one of the few indie kids in WV and this was a huge deal! I saw Superchunk, Helium, Built to Spill, Sonic Youth, and Pavement was high on that list of bands i would have seen for the first time (i was 17). I didnt even make it to the main stage from the second stage... they were pelted off before i could even get there!
