We used to say"Coca Cola" then when we got older, it said "Coke." You have made great blessings for us to be reminded of childhood here in the US with the food, lifestyle, and especially the store. I remember a neighborhood store, but we called her the "Candy Lady" and a store called "Mr. Ezell." So glad I found your channel a while ago. My ancestors were from the Ozark region in southeastern Missouri. They had small farms and livestock like I see in your videos. I live in a medium size town, semi rural, Blue Springs, Missouri. There is still farms a short drive from me, but, people are leaving the suburbs and speaking out a plot of land in the rural areas and starting to grow. You have such a gentle way in your videos, makes it so enjoyable to watch and after a little while, makes one feel like they are right there with you. Keep up the good works.

Shuzsleek...English pronunciation for BBQ!! Love it when I visit Ukraine in the summer. My friends take me to small villages that surround Zhytomir. I am sure I am the only American that ever has visited these small villages. I love the lifestyle and the food and the simpleness of life. Some of the people that you meet in Ukraine are the most genuine resourceful people that you'll ever meet. I go back this February!!!

Its so interesting to see life in the Ukraine, as my Grandpa was "Volga German", who came to the US as a child. I can now see how life would be for me if my ancestors had stayed in Glueckstal! They homesteaded in North Dakota as farmers, in the US.

I truly live out in "the sticks". Over 30 yrs. I can't see another house from mine. Wouldn't change it for anything. Bravo dude !

It reminds me of when I was a child in a country town in Australia only the land was a dryer and hotter. I had a German Sheppard too called Rajah. He was the same colour but had shorter hair.

I think you guys and your relatives have a great life. In the USA everything is hectic. Traffic is terrible and shopping is a pain. Yes, we have a lot of material things but, it does not bring happiness. Work is very difficult because companies expect a lot out of their workers. The material wealth comes with a large monetary debt. House payments, car payments, credit card charges and payments along with state and federal taxes. Everyone is one step ahead of losing everything.

Love the house and the country side. Yall have a good one.

This is great .i c that country life represents semi developed much like where i am from in africa but in my home vilage. I like that it is balanced you don't rely to much on technology thus if anything bad were to happen like the apocalyspe not all humans will be dumb due to lack of modern conviniences.

Reminds me of my grandparents farm in Indiana, America. My grandmother was from Poland, she left there in 1920s. There all gone now, but have good memories of them and their farm. You have a good life there, love watching!! Hope it doesn't get bad there. Praying for peace! Be safe!!

Very enjoyable video as always. I prefer the country or village life . Much better where your parents live than the crowded city and much quieter also. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.

I noticed a few small differences in our weekend. We take tea and not coffee. We buy pepsi and not coca. I buy it in cans because we drink it as a mixer with rum and so don't use as much. Pork steaks on the barbecue (I think) look the same, but also with burgers and sausages. We put bananas on the barby when the meat is cooked. We cheat and have a gas cylinder for the barby, but it doesn't taste as good as yours with the wood smoke. It is to cold in northern England today for barbecues and the forecast is for a big storm coming tonight, so everything is tied down for the weekend.
