Pavlov VR Tutorial 1 | The Very Basics

Learn to play pavlov from a pro! (well... as close as we can get in this game anyways) This is the first of a series, we will cover advanced technique later.
Yes I mix vive wand + index controller, it's the most comfortable for my shooting technique, which I will detail later. It is not at all a requirement, you can be good with any controllers, and I do not recommend going out and purchasing a vive wand just because I have one.

There was this one time where I was driving around in an RTV, then I came in contact with another RTV (that wasn’t being driven) and I think a bot shot me or something, because then I just flew in the air

Nice video, I learned much from it. Do you know how use mic in pavlov? And how to play together with my friends? I tryed discord but it stops when I open pavlov, so we cant even discuss which lobby we join(

Mic should work automatically, if not you might need to mess with the audio settings on your PC. Make sure your default input device is set to your headset mic.

idk how this is possible but the right trackpad only gives me camera movement and buy menu. I can't release mags nor can I release bolts. This is on Vive's controller (the one in the video in the right hand) and developers' binding settings.

The fact that you have a htc vive controller on your right hand and on your left hand you have a valve index controller

How do you stop the floor from moving away from you when you bend over/crouch? In my case, the floor moves away whenever i try and crouch. Makes picking up pretty much anything impossible (also incl. the lower racked weapons and the mods on the racks). Anyone else have this issue? (and more importantly how to fix it). My set is the HTC Vive Eye Pro

hmm that sounds like a tracking issue, maybe your base stations arent pointed downard enough and you are leaving their visibility? I havent heard of this happening

If you buy a weapon do you need to buy it again every round or do you have it forever

Depends on the game mode. In SND you will keep weapons unless you die or the halftime switch occurs. In TDM/DM once you buy a weapon you will always respawn with it.

I can not run. It tells me to hold the trigger and keep the gun down but it’s not making me go faster. Any help?

Depends are you sitting down while playing or sitting up i tried sitting down but in game it shows me crouching which makes me go slow

yes the game uses auto sprint now, so you dont need any bindings for sprint.

@@staffanhermansson Other than NadeBall (which is hella fun) Not to my knowledge but that would be swell, I'm waiting for hotfixes for this patch to be finished before I make a util tutorial in case he tweaks util at all, since it changed a bunch.

On steam you have to add them through steam, you can search the "recently played with" section when adding friends. For oculus, I dunno.

@@chillst3p the only way I've found is to have 2 guns and when you grap one off of your back you dont have to hold it and on pistols you grip it with both hands than let the shoot button go first than the next and you dont have to hold it after that

@@donkey4 I am using the valve index. I've never used any oculus product so I can't really vouch, but ive definitely heard people complain about the rift-s in pavlov. Quest 2 seems to be more popular.
