Peanuts is just amazingly entertaining. It's really universal, appreciated all over the world and throughout so many generations. And at the same time, it's so simple. Which to me, shows even greater skill from Schulz. You can just FEEL their personalities and experiences. Their flaws, their fears, their loves and hopes. Everyone that's ever read Peanuts, can relate to some character at some point, regardless of your age. And we all know people like them, of course. Also, I love how Schulz understood and respected people enough to listen to Glickman and create Frankling.

My grandmother may she rest in peace really loved to read the comics in the newspaper and her favorite was The Peanuts Gang, Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the gang. It gives me good memories when I see this. She liked these comics and so do I.

It pains me seeing people sell this stuff for such a low amount. I know it's still a pawn shop at the end of the day and they want quick cash. However, with just a little work and a few phone calls, you could easily get close to the 3500 if not more at an auction. But it's las vegas lol, everyone seems to need some quick cash there haha. Best place to have a pawn shop.

My friend Roy had that book. The problem is that it was signed by Charlie Brown himself rather than Charles Schulz, which brought the value down a bit. He still got $800 for it though, from a local Peanuts collector.
