As we can see on the video from 0:56 to 0:58, this carriage clock was made in Boston but not in France, and the rear glass is cracked and the mechanism too. This clock is not worth to be fixed ! DANY (French Riviera - FRANCE)

These clocks were usually made in France and then sent to a jewellers in another country to stamp their name on it and sell it. So for example this one was most likely made in France but was exported to Boston so that the jewellers who retailed it could stamp their name on it and retail it. Just like how retailers like birks or Eaton’s department store used Rolex watches but stamped their name on it.
