Many years ago, I had a contractor who ordered an AIM-9 seeker for a test. They were expecting a 4-foot box and ended up with a 12-foot box. Someone in a depot didn't have a seeker so he shipped a complete war shot missile! The problem was the contractor's insurance was void if they had any explosives or propellent on the property. We had to convince the armament guys at a nearby base to come and dismantle the missile and take away the dangerous parts. Luckily, we were able to get everything done in one day so a classified missile didn't have to be left in the middle of a large grass field overnight.

Well considering that the show isn’t even filmed in their real pawn shop and the shop you see itself is a replica one could only assume that was never the actual gun they were gonna buy anyway and was just added to the show for flair.

Desk gun is a a AOW. (Any Other Weapon) You could own it legal even if made since the antique age. But you have to file a for & pay for a tax stamp just like you would a SBR or suppressor. certainly not worth the time or money for a desk gun in 22lr. Lol

Hidden burgers built airships with hydrogen gas as the mechanism of lift. However, the Lindberg documents would garner a hefty sum at the right auction house Perhaps 25k to 45k US dollars. Very famous case where the wrong man was convicted...well, the verdict was highly questionable to most scholars. Very interesting case. Well worth the read.

Those Lindberg documents were brought in for show, most likely. Rebecca could have made it more clear if she were in on the authentication. Really great piece of American crime history. Genuine items like that are highly valued and super rare so im guessing this was a stunt Those were actually museum pieces, would be my guess.

Strongly DISAGREE about the Pentagon Vietnam Documents NOT having value!! Sure you can read the documents online or in a library file/book etc as public knowledge, but Firstly No-one does that! Secondly the woman has the Official legit Pentagon files of the original daily information from the time the actual Vietnam was going on....she had the original inside knowledge of how the Pentagon was running the Vietnam War in legit Pentagon folders! That's way cooler than some library book or file. I imagine a Vietnam Vet turned successful Businessman or a collector would pay a few thousand dollars for those folders for his collection easy! Just spreading them out on desk with a few other Vietnam things like a gun, lamp, uniform etc would be a very cool Home Vietnam/garage/bar installation for your drinking buddies/ex vets etc.😮
