Yes, I have engraved ceramic. Pottery is a little different because of how pottery is fired. The hardness can vary significantly

@@PawPawsWorkShop No... I was asking you! lol... what is the defect on your print that would make you want to tighten the belts! I have not adjusted mine and was wondering what I should look for?

I did not have a defect in an engraving. This was part of my normal maintenance and the belts were just a little loose. Not enough to cause a problem. You will have distorted engraving such as a circle would be an oval.

Nice video Paw Paw! I have been having an odd problem with my Comgo Z1 laser.. The laser has been skipping parts of the letters so that they don't get cut out completely.. "O" ends up looking like a "C" (sort of). I ran 4 passes, but the laser skipped the same spot each on each pass. Someone suggested trying a different font, but it didn't make a difference. I've ran this same job several times before, but only recently had a problem. Any ideas? I did send some pictures to Comgrow, but I haven't heard anything yet. Thanks!

Is it skipping the same location on the laser bed or just the same place in the program?

@@PawPawsWorkShop OK, I fixed the problem. I noticed it was always the same letters at the same spots, no matter where the text was on the laser bed. Turns out that the lightburn project had been corrupted somehow. I tried again fresh from scratch and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the help!
