Payday 3 guide for beginners. New to Payday and specifically Payday 3, here is a no nonsense guide to certain pre game aspects and how it all works.

Hear me out, the leveling would be SO much better if the challenge tab was organized better. As in all challenges for the same gun, then the next and so on in order of unlock. Same for the heists and career challenges. I just feel like as it sits now I’m scrolling through 40+ pages of stuff to find one or two specific challenges.

Probably called loadout 0 cos of an oversight in code. Indexes for arrays and the likes start at 0, so they likely just output Loudout {index}, forgetting about index 0.

Whole game feels like OVERSIGHTDAY 3 sometimes. There's just so much stuff that just needed a little bit of thought or an extra bit of polish.

I remember in the Open Beta I threw a grenade during stealth because I wanted to drop a guard's body off of my shoulders, being used to 'press g to throw' from Payday 2 screwed it over so badly for me lol. Although I am now used to the new button so I won't make that mistake again

I had payday 2 on the ps3 when I was like 8. loved the game ever since and have bought it on every console I've owned since then. When i found out payday three was releasing I was over the moon I'm getting it as soon as it comes out and im gonna force my mates to get it aswell.

I would tweak setting while in tutorial. I wish the 12.7mm sniper rifle is the first ovk weapon, the grenade launcher causes too much collateral damage(imagine trying to use it around civs).

Too late of a video, I'm already level 50. Edit: For fast leveling guns : Road Rage Overkill/Very Hard For fast stealth skill leveling : Gold&Sharke Overkill (tons of money and very easy)

Update: Soooo... I've got all achievements, Level 78 and I've learned some more stuff, For money Road Rage Overkill is best, Dirty Ice speedrun for most weapon xp, everything else is also fine just not as optimised. Weapon tips: Don't buy the Ziv Commando (bad everything), Reinfield 900S (lackluster damage) and revolvers (same reason as R900S).For secondaries you want either the 1911 (SP Model 11, because 2 shot headshot) or the Signature 403 (USP, Upgrade compared to the 1911, 3 shot headshot). Don't let other ppl fool you, the CAR-4 is a really good weapon. Sometimes it's better to not put an attachment on a gun for example a scope for hip-fire skills. Low damage weapons may make up for it in other areas when mixed with skills, attachments. Ideally have 3 ppl rock the Nade Launcher as OVK weapons and one with the OVK Sniper Rifle (crowd control from GL and Dozer shredding from the Rifle). Overall Tips: On higher difficulties abuse cover, nades and overall stun/stagger effects whether from your skills or the enviornment. Never ever play with bots on loud in higher difficulties. Use the weak spots on Tasers and Naders. You can regen armor if you duck behind cover and wait after getting shot (very important when youre running low on armor bags). Dodge builds are still kinda a thing but not as OP as PD2, and i wouldn't call them dodge, more like glass cannon since you get lasered by cops on higher difficulties if you aren't careful. Don't dump mags into a shield, ask for someone to help you or use an explosive, unless you are confident in your aim. Killing snipers should be your 1st priority when out in the open. On higher difficulties, try to split up the damage taken between your teammates, makes it way less stressful and also can save an armor bag or two. And finally the last and most important thing, WHEN YOU ARE LOW INGAME, DON'T TRY TO GET TO LOWEST POSSIBLE HP/ARMOR. HEAL YOURSELF, TRUST ME YOU ARE GONNA COMPLETE WAYYY MORE LOUD MISSIONS ON AVERAGE IF YOU KEEP YOUR HEALTH TOPPED UP!!!!!

The control settings as in there is some kind of aim assist that I cant disable, or its naturally really clunky/sluggish, not smooth at all. Are they going to address this? I tried to mess with the sensitivity and its just something I cant mess with, on the ps5.

Only 8 heists and the leveling system for guns is really weird. Enjoying it but the boys and I going to chew through this in a weekend. Just doesn't seem like there's much content here at all, definitely less than I was expecting. Enjoy the game but its really a "wait for sale" for me but on the flipside it might be time I got my squad and dived into Payday 2 and its 200 DLC.

Matchmaking is shit in this game, I find it very annoying coming from the payday 2 map with every Hester’s public session easily available to see, now you have about 8 heists to pick from the storyline bar thingy and have no idea what lobby your getting into. Hope this shit gets updated soon

I got to play 1 heist with my friends. We were unable to play anymore as the game just would not load the next mission. And why you wouldn't make a solo mode for situations like the servers being overloaded is beyond me. 4 hours in the game and I've played 1 heist 😑

How do you gain research points though? I've selected a skill line I want to research and clicked research. I then played a game and gained 3 levels. Yet my research progress on that skill line is still 0/500.. so not a single point progress?

Once you’ve researched the first skill, you then have to equip it to level that line up

@@b33croft It was the first skill though. And it was set to research. I noticed, on some rare occasions, a match seem to not give any research points. I had that happen two or three times now in roughly 8 hours play time.

my guess is recoil is up and down stability is how easy it is to hold an iron sight on target without it bouncing all over the place and handling is either how fast you switch guns or how fast you reload or aim down sights

@@b33croft Its speeding and slowing your mouse speed down. For example when moving your mouse very fast it speeds your mouse speed up or slows it when you turn your mouse slow.

Just got payday 3 after saving up :0 theres no ismah 12shotgun in payday 3 bro you know this guy cant use ismah 12 in a dodge build i wonder what you will use for a dodge build lol and also stealth for the low detection risk
