Hey Besties!! We are going to stick to our budgets in 2024! I hope that this video is helpful for those who aren't consistent and can never stick to the script! Thank you soooooo much for being here!! Talk to you in the comments!

I have made it a habit so far to grab my budget book and update it while I watch your (or a few other budget/goals videos) almost daily to track spending, update bills etc. When you said you’re helping businesses make their goals but not making yours because you can’t control your spending…..I listened 3 times to that part because that was for me. I’m trying hard.

Ah! It is not easy Bestie...I know how you feel. It took me a while to get to this mindset...I listen to a lot of podcast and business people who keep me grounded also. I am by no way saying that we do not deserve nice things or the things that we want but if the "stuff" keeps us from financial goals then that is when we have to regroup, change our mindset and make a plan where we can have both 🤗

@@BudgetTreasures it’s not easy but it does help doing it along side others. The thing about stuff is I don’t need anything at all other than gas and groceries. My friend is constantly giving me clothes, I ran out of room. I actually need to declutter my apartment lol. I have a library e card so most of the books I want are there. My only other big spend I like to do besides food is yoga classes so I have some prepaid. I definitely need financial peace and security over things.

This video here…. So on point!!! Esp at the end. While we’re feeding their why, we left still struggling to answer ours. I paid a small debt off with my 1st check this month. The 2nd second I plan on paying a lot more items off because I purposely worked 12 OT hours to assists me on my debt free journey. I’m enduring everyone to discover our why and stick to it. ❤️❤️

Something fun to do is go on a home improvement website and pretend to shop for all your home improvements. I did this when I was replacing some lighting/plumbing fixtures and appliances. It gave me a rough estimate of the amount of money I would need to save. You are so right about keeping your "why" in front of yourself at all times. A lot of sticking to your budget requires self-discipline and maturity. Great video!

Falling off isnt a crime! Not getting back on and keeping on is! I have been doing a low spend January, and it has been a blessing to me! That said, I did end up having a high spend day today. This video reminded me why I need to keep going. Thank you Budget Treasures :)

Closeout each paycheck is important. You may want to try this method. .At the top would be Pay period dates: below create a 4 column closeout method. Column 1 heading would be tbe Budge Category List. The name of your budget category in vertical order ( income total , bills total , variable total, sinking funds total , extra debt payment total saving total and balance. ..Column 2 heading would be Total Amt Budget. Column 3 would be Total Amt Actual Spend. Column 4 heading would be Difference (+/-) .. with this method, your brain can see if you over or under budget. Do you need to increase or decrease....just a suggestion....

As for Groceries I did find that sticking to WEEKLY budget is the only way for me. I use the "back of the envelope" method by Jordan Page. Šo literraly I write down every purchase of groceries same day and put it into envelope. Works easier for me.

Hi Jazmine, thank you so much for your videos. Like some of your other subscribers I have also made it a habit to bring out my budget book with me and update any changes. I am so glad you brought up the subject of tithes, this year I am not only on a financial journey but also a spiritual one. I started reading the Bible for the first time, praying more, trying to get closer to the lord. I want to give, I wish I could give more now, and it’s a goal when I am debt free, but my question is: is it okay to give my tithes to organizations that help others instead of my church? I am catholic, well raised catholic, and I am slowly rebuilding my trust with the church, but for someone reason I still don’t want to give them my money.

Hey BESTIE!!!!!!!!!!! I am so with you on this. The WHY is a must...... FYI I paid off a Loan this week. my goal is to pay off another one by the end of the month. Sticking to my budget . Thanks for the Prayer Call. My question is on th tithing is when you give and some Churches give you a paper for end of year tax to write it off , is it considered a true tith? Another question I have is money the only thing for thithing, can it be time or products the Church may need? Thanks for all you do.

I have one credit card maxed out with a 30%APR. Is it better to add more than the min payment little bits at a time as you can, or should I be saving a large dollar amount like $1000 and then adding that all at once after some time (still making just min payments on time though)? Does it matter when and how much more you pay more than the minimum payments? I am new to your channel and love the content! So motivated!

The routine is 100% necessary. I didnt budget my money when i got paid last week and then my entire family got the flu. What do i do when i dont feel well? Doom scroll and shop. :( i blew 300 bucks without even realizing it. Sat down and did my budget today and I can pay all my bills bit most of what would have gone to savings is gone. 😡

Hi Jasmine - I find your videos very informative and valuable. I bought your budget workbook and I’m wondering why mine isn’t as detailed as yours. To be honest, I am a little disappointed that I paid $20 for a PDF that with some research, I could’ve found online for free. I was so excited after watching a couple of your videos and seeing how transparent and organized you were that I wanted to take it step by step and do it like you. I am earnestly seeking to change my mindset on spending so I continue to watch your videos. I know you said we need a side hustle and I realize my $20 investment was a contribution to yours. So I guess you did a good job.
