That bench was located at the original burial site where to my understanding it was sent there by Charlie Daniels as a memorial to Ronnie. I wondered if the bench had been moved with him. Stevie and Cassie were buried to the right of Ronnie at his original burial site. Their Dad had wanted Ronnie buried in this location. We are left wondering what might have been, but he's given a lifetime of music in those short years. Nobody before and nobody since has commanded a stage like him. I loved him the second I saw him on TV, and I will love him when I close my eyes the last time. Rest in peace Ronnie, fly high freebird!! ❤ 😢😢❤❤

Sad he was moved. His Daughter was buried next to him and we were told it was her step Mother who had him moved away from his family.

Remember that sad day almost 46 years ago. What a simple man with an abundance of talent. a shame like so many other talented musicians who left us so soon. Their music will live on forever thankfully.

Enjoyed the clip. Yes, that was Charlie Daniels that wrote that poem about Ronnie. He also wrote a song about Ronnie (and Elvis and Janis too) called 'Reflections'. Check it out. Judy has said that Charlie was Ronnie's closest friend outside of the band.
