Saw this match live in the stadium. LCW was a legend and Srikanth was hardly a name in the badminton circuit. When the match started, everyone in the stadium was cheering for LCW. However, the way Srikanth played the first set, by the end of that set the tide had changed in his favour and the crowd was going absolutely mental for Srikanth. What a match !!!

Huge sportsmanship from LCW at 8:46. He watches the shuttle land in but gets called out by line judge and raises his hand to challenge in favour of Kidambi. He knows it was a good shot landed in and that his opponent deserves the point.

I am a huge fan of LCW and Srikanth. Watching them playing against was so fascinating. I was not concerned who won coz unfortunately LCW retired. Any which ways, seeing both of them play against each other made my day.

I will tell you guys. That year, lee chong wei is already retired and was promoting about badminton all around neighbors country. So about this match, is a friendly match and the shouting to the player is normal when the match point is near end. When you in the court, you can feel the pressure of facing the opponent who was the best badminton player all time. Player can be a bit emotion because the pressure while playing in the court is intense. It was very tiring when you play single. We must respect them and the achievement they get. The match between this two is a great and the best match. I love them both❤️❤️😌

Me as malaysian LCW already retired for more thn 3 years and still can compete with srikanth, i guess LCW just want to enjoy the game like he make srikanth confidence going up for next after beating the Goat, btw this is the 2nd Srikanth win over LCW ( HEAD TO HEAD LCW 5-1(+1 non official on this video) SK)

I respecting all sports👍 But in india we are bad in football But we are the world 2nd best cricket team in the world👍 But china is very bad in cricket and football But they are far better than ours in racquet games like badminton and tt In india our government, bcci and channels are growing somuch money from indian cricket and ipl So in india we will support cricket over than any other sports The reason is we are best in only one sports.that is cricket👍 So cricket is best in india Then i think badmintons biggest prize money is 15 lakh ( i dont know sure i just see in an post) But that came in ipl here one over charged 3+ crores so 1 match= 40× 3 cr So u will understand what is the difference between we and Chinese countries 👍
