Should we use metformin for women with PCOS in fertility or pregnancy?

I have PCOS diagnosed from my LSH/FSH disparity. Metformin has worked for me. Progesterone, first, then Clomid after two months of Metformin. I stopped taking Metformin during pregnancy, but after I stopped nursing, I started taking it again. My son is now 13 and my sugars, while still just over the normal limit, are stable.

Trying to conceive got on provera to induce first cycle but didn’t have to take it this cycle metformin brought my menstrual day 30! Definitely a difference compared to having 4 cycles a year , hoping to get pregnant 🙏🏼

@@simranmanzoor5662 metformin alone helped with menstruals but I had to take a combination of metformin and letrozole to conceive .. i have a 1 1/2 yr old baby thanks to that! I was 8 yrs trying to conceive before that

When u do conceive do u carry on taking the same dosage for example am on 1500 mg shall I stick to that amount or drop it to a lower dose??? Very helpful by the way

Go by a gynecologist hun. Or if you want to do it naturally you can try Tisane. It's a supplement that sells in the pharmacy. It cost $69 ( well by me lol) you HAVE to drink 3 bottles to do the full course and DO NOT EAT MEAT while you're on it.
