PCSX2 1.6.0 Best Settings - 60 FPS On Most Games (New Version)

Hey friends! In this video, I have shown the best PCSX2 settings for most games that are playable or supported by PCSX2. Majority of your games should run at 60 FPS with these settings. However, note that the settings would not produce the same results for everyone. It also depends on the specifications of your PC.

Could u plz solve the issue i ve new asus laptop 4gb ram ssd 256. When i open game samckdown its showing only black screen saying ntsc mode press x or o to pal 60 mode.. thats it & nothing else is happening plz help ..

These settings are working on Dragon Quest 8 very well. To be safe/because I'm unsure and new to this, I dropped the quality to 720p instead of 1080p since it's still an improvement to the original graphics. Very soothing to look at. Thank you so much.

25fps means youre playing a game in slow motion. You're a psychopath if you think that's even remotely playable.

Wow! It worked! I'm always skeptical about these "no narration" style how-to videos, but I was running out of things to try. I went from 30 to 60 fps to holding steady over 57 fps. I'm going to adjust the settings a bit to find out which setting had the most impact. Thank you!

Oh my God! RohitRo thankyou so much!! before I can only have 25fps in Cars and Toy Story 3, Toy story even worst. but with this setting I can play both games smoothly without any lag, except when I play Cars, it drops but only 45 fps. Thank you so much!!

This solved my sound problem, thank you! I do not have such a good graphics card and so I run the games on native resolution with no upscaling, but it is fine :)

It seems to fix the lag, but however when I used these configuration settings the shadow issues were in when set at 1080p!

If you are playing GOW 1 or 2, I suggest you put aggressive in CRC hack level to remove the green vertical lines.

Made God Hand run like a cake on my potato pc (i3 4gb ram Intel 620). I can't thank you enough 🙏 Just remember to adjust the internal resolution to something more realistic if your pc is like mine (like 400x400)

@@yandenikrisanto7483 No, you can adjust your window size at your desire. Thing is, the custom resolution in video > plug-in settings is what determines your performance and I recommend 400x400 (some games can take more, like god hand, that I can play at 530x530, some are more resource demanding and will force you to lower the resolution ) because it's what works with my potato pc, but you can test higher resolution to see if you or the game can handle it. Now, for the window resolution you can put the resolution you want, but I recommend either the resolution of your screen or 640 x 480 if your pc is shitty, because if the resolution of the game is lower, there's no need to put a bigger screen just to see blurry pixels.

Hey so first I would just like to say these settings work great! I just have one issue. So my camera keeps spinning to the left for some reason. I’m using a PS5 controller for my PC. Could that be why it keeps spinning or is it a setting issue?

Have any suggestions with Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks? After the 3rd level or so it stays frozen on the loading screen and I notice that even when changing the settings a ton of times it doesn’t change. :/

Seems to have messed with most of my graphical issues. Either objects load without textures applied, objects load but the textures tear from one end of the screen to the other or the colours seem to be inverted (Grass is fluro yellow kinda thing) This also hasn't solved the issue I was searching for, which was to remove the Freeze Framing I have intermittently. Before asking, the PC I'm running this on has a 12700k, 32gb ram, 8gb 3060ti. VU, GS & EE all remain below 20, FPS stays upward of 48, however when the frame freezes my fps counter does not register this, as if the even the counter freezes.

My issue is when the frame rate lags, so does the sound. It's so noticeable even if it's just 10fps etc

I just did this on a high end PC, and when I booted Tekken Tag Tournament, the graphics improved tremendously, but the characters' heads were disappearing, and the gameplay was extremely slow.

same for me on all my games at the moment. First when i launched them i was like wow the graphics are amazing then during the game play was oofff... (i play Spartan total warrior, Dynasty warrior tactic, the lord of the ring 2 tower and return of the king aswell as kingdom heart...

@@doudle666 Yeah, you get excited by the stunning graphics, but then the broken gameplay disappoints you. Next time I try this, I will reset the PCSX2 settings to default, then, instead of inputting all of these settings from the tutorial, I will just change one thing at a time, then run a game, and see the changes. Almost like troubleshooting, in a sense.

Same when I make the graphics better it automatically make the game super slow I have to play the Default graphics for it to play perfectly fine
