We left Packwood and headed back out into the rain, and ended the day at a beautiful lake.

2:20 I love those old signs. The Cascade Crest Trail along with the Oregon Skyline Trail were the predecessor trails to the PCT. That sign is probably 50 years old.

Praying the rain puts the fire out. Watch while going around blind spots, there could be a bear on trail. Love your videos, nice job by camera person on the beautiful views. 😉💕

That shoe's seen some stuff. Wildfire smoke is no joke - the last hike I did in Montana was rough. Less than 1k miles is great - a shame that you need to jump around to get in those miles. Necessary I know.

Yeah, the jumping all over is not ideal... but we are getting down to the wire and need to do what we can to make it 😏
