Great video!! I have this trigger and I am unsure how you change the modes. Double clicks from single output to auto variable but then how do you go back to single output? Mine seems to be buggy. I know my charger can do 20V and it goes to all the way to 20V from 5V in auto mode but manually wont go above 12V. Any idea?

Hi and thanks for stopping by to my small channel. Glad you posted that querry here. To deactivate the continuous triggering (auto mode 5-20V) just double click once, both buttons simultaneously. I hope this helps.

nice, I want try use pd 3.0 for charge bms 3s so pd 3.0 need manual trigger unlike phone who automatically adjust the voltage

What did you use to create a load on the output side of the USB meter?

How long can the trigger work when connected to a power bank? Can it stay on without any load connected to it?

Yes the PD3.0 trigger can stay on without any load plugged in but note that it also depends on the USB charger you use. I'm also using the trigger for powering DC jack devices using USB charger. Here is my detailed video if you want to find out more: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hZ6bf5Rh2tfKlqM.html

Is there a meaning to PD on the USB type A output ? Isnt it initiate a BC from the usb c input because the output is usb type A ?

No there isn't a meaning of PD through USB-A. I plugged the USB meter in trigger just to check the accuracy of the LCD display. Also there is no PD protocol detection via USB-A output.

How much power consumes a trigger itself? Is it useful to use this trigger to decrease a power bank voltage to save little more juice for charging! I mean limiting the voltage to 5v instead of 9v or 12v at charging moment?

@Mindaugas Burda yes this PD trigger can be used on power banks for decreasing voltage but I think you won't save any power bank juice by doing this, since your device's battery will use the same energy to be charged either using 12V or 9V or 5V. In other words you only delay the charging time by downgrading the power bank's voltage.

Hi and sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure what you mean. Your device (wall charger, powerbank) should support PD3.0 20V output in order this PD3.0 Voltage trigger to work.
