First time looking at tab, what are the parenthesis for? Like in the following chord, seen at 0:14 in this video: (4) 5 3

Parenthesis are used to indicate a ghost note, which is a note that is silent, continued to ring from a previous note or optional to play. Ghost notes in tablature are indicated by a parenthesis around a note and are used to indicate notes that are one of the following: The same note continued from the prior beat.

Yep but in a cheaper version 😅 I guess Daniel uses a japanese Epiphone Casino (mine is chinese) and Paul uses a Gibson Les Paul Custom.

A few questions about this song: 1. What did they each have for breakfast the morning of the recording? 2. What kind and age of socks where they each wearing while recording this song? 3. Hair product? 4. Did they use condoms? And a real question: How do you remember 15 Interpol songs... its more like a data stream, than chords, but with so many changes, how could you possibly remember this?

They use chords but not the common ones. They use inversions of chords, fifths, octaves or any other intervals of notes.
