The mario speed section at the start is an homage to mario speedrunning. The first section features the 'Wall Clip' glitch to get to the warp zone faster, the Mario Bros 2 section strangely enough references the 'Backwards Long-Jump' glitch from Mario 64, and the Mario Bros 3 section features the 'Red Pipe' Glitch which skips you to the end of the game. Each of these is pretty fascinating to see, worth looking up.

So to explain the SMB 3 part: There's a very complex trick in 7-1 which, if performed correctly, auto-warps you to Peach and ends the game. The process involves very specific manipulation of RAM via enemy counts and coin position which in turn basically creates a RAM-made command to "Warp to Peach." You initiate this by entering a Pipe the wrong way which, if done correctly, performs that command perfectly. If done incorrectly, you crash the game cause the entire game has a panic attack cause you initiated something meant to be totally impossible. One of these exists for SMW also. It's also done in basically the very beginning of the game.

To help fill in some gaps, the episode made anime references to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, One Punch Man, DB Super(you guys probably figured that one out already), and(I think) Fist of the North Star. Tabuu was the blue giant and it was a reference to the Doctor Strange movie, and Mario's able to go so fast because of the classic BLJ(Backwards Long-Jump) glitch from SM64. Also, you missed one last ending scene with Luigi. Although the timelines were fixed, he still had faint dreams and visions about everything. Another Luigi(assumingely from either the past, future or another timeline) appears to him and gives the present Luigi a bible along with a tape that explains everything and shows that all of the events that took place really did happen, despite his memory loss. BTW, I recommend using the subtitles for each video as well. It helps keep things entertaining and helps understand what they're saying sometimes. Keep that in mind when you watch everything in order.

Character I did not expect to be good with: Villager. He's now one of my murder machines in friend parties. I grasped a difficult-to-deal-with zoning game with them, so I consistently outstock my last opponent. I even ended up cheesing the Sephiroth Very Hard challenge with him. I was struggling even with my "go to" sword characters, but then I edgeguarded Sephy to death on my first try with Villager... and I wasn't even seriously considering that I would win with the character; I was just fucking around!

I mean honestly most of the sword characters play differently from each other. The only ones that play similarly are Marth, Roy, Lucina, and Chrom, but here's the deal with them: Marth is the OG, so he gets a pass. Chrom and Lucina however, are echo fighters. Echo fighters are characters that didn't take as much effort to develop. They're essentially bonuses, so I don't really think you can complain about them. That leaves Roy, and I still think he's fine because of how he's basically the opposite of Marth in how he plays. There's also only 17 swordfighters out 80 characters. Sorry for the long comment, I just feel like people say there's too many sword characters without actually looking at them and seeing how many there are or how they play.

I find it amusing and annoying that the people who whine about "too many sword characters" are also the ones who demand Dante, Pyra, and Sora, aka, sword characters. "No, you see, it's anime sword characters we don't want!". So you demand the MOST anime sword characters and were just fine when THE anime sword boi joined up? At least be honest, it's FIRE EMBLEM SWORD characters you don't want, because people were calm about Robin (once they found out they use tomes), Corrin (once they found out they are more a spear fighter and also an enormous fuck you dragon), and (eventually) Byleth (once they found out they use a bow, spear, axe, and rarely the chain sword). People need to just chill out about the FE sword characters because there's only 5 and while 4 play similar, there are enough differences between 3 of them to not lose your shit over. Really, only Lucina is a problem, and most people chilled out once she was deemed an echo fighter. Come to think of it, no one was mad at Chrom since he was deemed an echo as well. Honestly, I'm surprised that the same people aren't bitching about too many Pokemon, since there are 10 of them (if you count Pkmn Trainer as 3) and none of them are echos, with only Pichu coming close. Sorry for the rant, I know it's just a game. It's just a pet peeve that's been slowly building for near 20 years.

I heard that the fire emblem characters, "the sword characters" if you will, have different attributes, the only ones who are truly the same nowadays are Marth and Lucina. Also, there are only 10 "swordfighter" characters(Marth, Lucina, Roy, Chrom, Ike, Robin, Corrin, Link, Byleth, and Hero) out of 80 characters (assuming you count pokemon trainer as three different fighters and Pyra and Mythra as 2). Along with that some of the characters I just said are sword fighters who have drastically non-sword-focused movesets (I.e. Corrin is a dragon in human form, Robin carries around a spellbook, Hero can cast magic, and Link and Byleth use other weapons than just swords). I think it's unfair to classify all sword fighters as "the same" though I do agree that seeing Sora would be AWESOME

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is without a doubt my favorite, even with all those sword characters. Most of them play differently. The only thing that is annoying me are some of the Fire Emblem characters because they are the same as some others but not all of them. Swordfighters are GOATED. It's really the Fire Emblem cast and the Link clones that make it lame, and some of them have high skill gaps, and the swordfighters introduced in this game are high demand, especially Chrom and Pyra, who was the real reason a lot of people wanted Rex. Link uses a bunch of stuff. Marth is finesse incarnate. Meta Knight is a legend. Ike is a THAT boy, forget Roy. Robin is the only unique swordsman from Fire Emblem and the first not to have a counter, but a healing move, and rewards you for being good at the game. Shulk is a Stat changing meme icon for Smash who can play however you want if you're good. Cloud is the most fun swordfighter by a landslide, and fighters in general, not my opinion, but the community. Hero is coveted in Japan and embodies Smash in extremely random and the hypest swordfighter in the game. I don't have to explain Sephiroth's troll natured attacks. None of this is just my opinion. I don't count Pit or Joker since they use blades, and Joker uses kicks, a gun, and Stand power. I can't say for Pyra/Mythra yet. The rest in my opinion suck. They either borrow the same gimmick or two from their OG series fighter or are complete clones of those characters, but I avoid those characters anyway.
