Thank you, great tutorial, very informative, how do I deactivate the Perform OCR blue banner when not required? Sometimes I am just reading PDF docs and dont want to do the OCR process?

A bit late to the party but if you are still reading comments, how do you straighten and deskew without using OCR? I know there is a Deskew function but I never got it to work.

Hello, can i search multiple pdfs at once after performing OCR, for a specific text for exemple 500$. and it will tell me which file or files has that text inside ?

Thanks this video was very helpful. Do you know how i would convert multiple JPEG to PDF with OCR? I have over 600 JPEG i need to convert. Also can the free version do this? Thanks Chris

Thanks for your kind words! If you are using PDFelement Windows version, it can bulk conduct OCR: go to the "tool" tab > choose "batch process" > click "OCR" > add all JPEG files and select the language, the files will be converted to PDF format. The OCR feature now is available for pro version only.

Can it ocr a 500 page document. Also if buy a windows licence, can it be used on my android and ipad ?

The OCR function does not have a page limit. As for your question about licenses, Windows, Android, and iOS licenses are separate. Each platform requires its own license. iPad also has OCR feature~You can follow these steps: 1. Open the Scanned Document. 2. Tap the ellipsis button located in the upper-right corner (…). 3. Select "Recognize" from the menu. 4. In the pop-up window, choose "OCR PDF." 5. Then, select your preferred language for recognition. Now, you'll have a document that's editable and searchable. 🙌

Did anyone spot anything wrong with the lady using the computer? The mouse cursor was moving when she was typing! When was using the mouse, words appear instead!

I understand that it not free. What I hate about the program is it won’t charge you until you want to download your finished PDF. It says it only for preview you gotta pay to actually use it which I think it’s kind of scamy

@@PDFelement the program is fine, but this video wasn't good. I downloaded it for it's OCR feature but at no point in this video was it mentioned that it's a paid feature of the program. Get your money up, I have no gripes with that but I shouldn't need to download the app and try to use only to find out then that's I needed to pay for it
